There is hope for all of you out there. I just got with a group and we figured out how to beat the mission in under 5 minutes. Yes you heard me in 5 minutes.
That one shows me holding one of the crystals and someone else giving the crystal to the ghost. The names have been blotted out to protect the innocent. Just to everyone out in GW...there is a way to beat everything. Just some are harder than others.

You act like youre the first to complete it. I found it to be a very easy mission, but alas did it with guildies, who know how to play the game, and not with the general-retarded pug.

Im not saying im the first to complete it..i know damn well that I am not. What i am happy about is the time it took to complete. Take a look at the timer again.

... not necessarily pshop, I finished the mission with my group in 7 mins on my first try. I think it's actually a really simple mission, especially when you have a member in your group who knows the way.

So my final thoughts:

1) to the last commenter, just cuz it's tough for you to imagine, doesn't mean it's impossible, give some credit...

2) to the thread creator: who the hell cares?

I agree with Romac

I've been really stuck on this mission and cannot seem to get this done after so many times I've lost count. I don't know what we're doing wrong.

I go out with me (elem/mess) and my hubby (rang/nec) and the rest henchmen. We cannot seem to keep from getting aggro from more than one group at a time when going for crystals 2 and 3. When we try to pull to a safer area, it's too far and we lose aggro, when we get a little closer then another group is sure to wander in.

We've trying going through the bridge and to the right of the bridge. We're just having serious pull issues. The few times we've managed to get a crystal then on the way back mobs have respawned (first place I've seen that happen) and we had elss than 10 minutes to get the next one.

I would really appreciate some advice on what we're missing. I'd prefer to stay away from pickup groups as they are generally too chaotic and I feel that would make this worse. And our guild members aren't high enough yet.

Any advice on how to get through this thing?

Well since the op want's to just brag, i guess i'll give some tips.

i did it with henchmen after failing all day long last weekend with real people...so a husband and wife team rounded out by henchies should be able to do this a little easier than with pure henchies.

i was able to fight individual groups, but there were a few sticky points.

after the bulls once the timer starts...
- don't stress the timer - be efficient, don't try to kill everything, but i had 4 minutes left when i did it with henchies
- i did the left one first fighting no mobs until the actual camp by running as soon as the timer started...run straight for the left door and run between everything but don't run to the front gate with the boss mob and the thorn grenade plant thingy...run to the right and enter the left camp from a side passage right beside the boss mob.
- there are a group of 3 that will wander right up to this entrance but if you try to aggro them they run right back to the boss mob...just don't chase them...wait until they come back, get in their range, and let them aggro you...fight them right there
- then you can sneak into the camp sticking to the wall on the right side of the boss without even aggroing him...you have to run up and kill the priests behind the wall...if the boss mob and the priests behind the wall get involved (happened to me once) they make a nice healing ball and it's a royal pain to try to kill them...i succeeded killing them all once by running up behind the wall, eliminating the 2 healers behind the wall, then killing everyone else finishing with the boss...i found it almost impossible though so that might be a good point to give up and try again.
- then approach the high part with the crystal also from the same right side...kill everything up there because one group wanders and will often agggro you when you go for the crystal
- return the same way you came but there will be a few new groups you have to clear to get back to the hero...take your time, be careful, don't try to sneak
- next crystal i can't remember too much because it seemed a lot easier than the first one...i approached in the same way though trying to clear mobs when i could isolate them rather than waiting for them to aggro me when it was least convenient.
- don't sneak past mobs on the way back...chose your path, eliminate the mobs

hope this helps

i had 4 minutes to spare with henchies doing it this slow way

i'm sure all these 5-minute wonders have some easier ways if they'd ever chose to share....i haven't a clue how they did it since it took me 26 minutes.

When the mission starts, I just veered right and picked up the first crystal and the ghost priest cam alive. When I went back to the gate, I could not find the warrior ghost to give him the crystal. Where is he?

I finished this mission after 3 nights of attempts. I was level 16 and hit 17 in the mission. There was a level 20, another 16, and the rest were 18s. We had 2 warriors, 1 monk, and 3 elementalists. I set my skills for defensive (Endure Pain, Shield Stance) and did my best to lead and tank. We had 2 runs at it, the first we didn't even get the first crystal and we only had 10 mins left. We learned from our mistakes and talked strategy. We went back in with the same group, I lead everyone through and they LISTENED . My recomendation is to run this mission until you get a feel for it, get a good group together (yes, unfortunatly, DPS is your priority), and establish a leader. We went through the mission with around 3 deaths total with 2 16s, a 20, and 3 18s. The mission is not hard, just well planned out. The mission requires much team work and strategy, and EVERYONE has to know their role. This mission does not depend on level, but skill (like the game). In under 7 mins (13:02 left, I believe) the 6 of us finished this mission.

Good Luck To Everyone, I Hope This Helped.

Took 5 Henchmen - War War Monk RNG ENC and me wiz/enc, took me a few tries to get down what I can and cant get away with - after I got the basic rules of the mission down it was NP to take the 5 NPCs and cruise through it.

Play defense, and try to spread out as much as possible so the snake AEs dont rock you. When a group is by itself then kill it, and go on to the next group.

You should make it pretty easily in the 30 min that way, even fighting every enemy between you on both paths.

Take out the sages first or they heal, as an Air wiz I was killing them in about 15 sec at the start of each fight.

Just go slow and dont bite off more than you can chew by rushing around and training yourself.

good point, and i didn't mention it because by this point in the game i figured that would be obvious, but i have grouped with people that still don't understand the fact that groups of mobs are much, much easier if you kill them in order from the healer to the heaviest armor wearer or boss mob.

something like this: sages/elementalists/mesmers/rangers/warriors/bosses is the order in which all mobs are defeated easiest.

Don't be offended if this is obvious to you because (as crazy as it sounds) i still get into the odd group where people attack the warriors first or whatever rushes them first.

Spend a little time watching enemy paths. I assure you that it can be doen in under 15 minutes with just henchies, fighting everything ( THAT YOU HAVE TO!). You should onyl have to take out 3 groups on each crystal run if you are careful.

Crystal 2 ( right gate):

Wait until the group moving parallel with your intended path ( straight out the gate along the wall) is far away. Run to them and attack them there. Hug the wall and kill the 2 other groups you are forced to fight ( one at the bones and one at the crystal).

Crystal 3( left path) go out the left gate this time.

Watch the mobs and you can go all the way to right of the bridge ( going around the bridge). Stop in the area between the boss next to the bridge and priest bones. Wait until the group behind the fence is gone and grab the group in your way and pull them back. Then wait until the wandering group that goes to the fence is farthest away and squeeze past to the right up the hill. Kill the group there, then the group guardign the crystal and head back.

Default About 10 Seconds Here

Hey I'm new to the forums here, but I was looking around and came accross this thread and decided I would help. My team completed the mission in about 12 seconds after the timer began and thats with the bonus. Its really simple if you know what to do. When you start the mission take the crystal turn the corner (kill everything) and ressurect the first priest. After that make your way to gate. Killing the minitours and the worms. At this point DO NOT give the crystal to the Ghost Hero. Instead drop it a fair ways away and decide which four people of your group will go in and kill off the hordes of enemies. Make sure to take the tanks and monks with you. Here comes the tricky part. Have all your group members ZOOM IN into first person view. Then have one of the two people that has been disignated to stay behind walk up to the gate and get as close as possible. Then have the remaining members of your group walk back and forth into that person that is standing at the gate. Eventually when you are walking back and forth into the person standing there you will magically warp through the gate. Thriffty eh? Do the same thing with the second gate, just make sure the person that stays behind is not an essential part to the group. After you successfully get through both gates you should have 4 group members left with no timer(we got five through one time haven't been able to do so since). You and your group are free to kill off the enemies, do the bonus, and collect the crystals at your leisure. After you have the crystals the person at the first gate (one with Ghost Hero waiting) will need to get the very first crystal and take it to the Hero. Doing this will initiate the Mission and the timer. All you have to do is hand the crystals to the Ghost and bam your done. Hope this helps

In our four group party we had a level 18 War/Mo, 20 War/Me, 18 Mo/Me, and 20 Ele/Me.

The mission was incredibly easy. The walking through walls trick is just a waste of time. You're going to be short one person if you do it that way. Here's the trick....are you ready...everyone listening????......Don't get aggro....ding ding ding wow amazing tip right? I should get payed for this.
