I can't seem to get to the area indicated by my green glowy badge that I need to be. I don't know if this is a static point on all maps, but it seems to be--everytime I log out and come back, it's in the same place, an alcove-like area off the coast. I can see it, I can see the mobs, I just can't see a way to get there.

Has this happened for anyone else or am I missing something? I tried going through Scoundrel's Rise and everything... just can't seem to find the correct pathing.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to go on the very northeast side of that sandbar, then try to walk up the hill. The water is shallow enough there that you can get across.

Thanks much--I was having a hard time finding where to cross the water, but finally! I was able to double click one of the elementals and voila I made a path.
