Do you mean your character is dying too quickly?

Most people hang around in Pre-Searing and only go Post when they get to Level 6 or 7, but its a little late for that

Monks do get targetted quickly by the Monsters so you have a problem there. I'd suggest, if you can, that you go out on missions with guild mates, or try and find people to help you out.

Once your character levels up a little, you should be able to handle yourself better. If you like the character by all means stick with it. If not, then maybe re-create and go through to Post Searing at a higher level next time?

If you've got runes, you'll need an expert salvage kit to remove the runes as the armour won't be usable by another character. (apologies if you already knew this)

How are you equipping the skill bar? I can't remember what skills you should have at that level, but if you have a damage reduction protection spell and definately orison of healing equipped.

Maybe add Alesia (healing henchman) to your party when you go out, as it will help spread the pain if there's two monks

Good luck with whatever you do.

I don't think that works (I haven't tried it though) I imagine that somewhere inside the ArenaNet system each character has a unique identifier and if you remove the character and create a new one, it will have a different internal identifier. Do customised items probably won't work (like armour and weapons)

There is also the possiblility that when you delete a character, all its goods go with it, even if they're in storage, so you may need to start from scratch with your new character first and transfer everything across once the new character's got to post searing.

Make sure that the new character has everything in its local inventory (rather than storage) before deleting the old character.

Well i tested it both so ill share it with you guys
If you store stuff and delete a char the stuff stays in storage, and the costomized items can be used by ne1 who has the name

Sorry for necroing this topic, but yeah.

Anyway, I tried putting the items in the storage, and made a character with the exact same name. It doesn't work. Customization is based on the exact character, not the name.
