Default The Hunter's Horn: HELP!

I'm doing The Hunter's Horn quest, and I am at a loss. The healing spring in Regent Valley is the big fountain right next to the statue of Melandru, right?

If yes, then how the heck do I purify the horn in it? I've tried dropping it on the fountain, nothing seems to be working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

wrong. once you reach the statue of melandru, there will be a small canyon with spiders and grall leading off to the right. if you follow that down to the water, you should see a bunch of scales surrounding the spring. hold down ALT and you will see the label. just running into the spring should activate the quest.

Keep an eye out on the green arrow on your compass - it points you where you need to go on each stage of the mission. The arrow changes to a green starburst once the objective is within sight range of the compass. Once you have cleansed the horn, you will need to take a long jaunt south to find the girl you need to give it to.

Funny, I ran to the spring (as indicated on the map) and nothing happened. Did I miss something? And yes, it's in my Quest Log.

And I have the horn in my inventory. And I tried dropping it.

This mission end was really poor on their part, as the healing spring is not actually the entire spring of water, but is instead an object inside, not that it would be very hard to create an area since lava, the maguuma waters, and so forth all feature similar properties. Anyway, if you walk in and haven't cleansed, hold alt, this will reveal all objects that can be used in the world in a radius to you, the healing spring is one of them and is rather small.

Once you've found the spring, search for the label: Healing Spring or something in the water, and click it, you can also use ALT to see all non enemies nearby.

Vangor beat me to it :P

Ah, clicking! I'll be sure to do that. I did use the ALT for I read the previous posts in this thread and I wasn't sure what it meant.

Thanks to both of you

Hold down the ALT key and you will find it no problem. Unless of course it's the CTRL key you need to hold down (one of the two anyway).
