Default Plant Fibers...

I've never had a use for Plant Fibers in the past. Though my Ranger and my Necromancer I always sold them to the vendors, never really paying attention to what I salvaged to get them.

But then I started a monk, and not have a choice between wearing football pads or Sacred Pants. I mean, it's obviously Sacred Pants all the way. But they require Linen, and linen requires Plant Fibers, and I don't have any plant fibers.

Seriously, while activly looking for Plant Fibers I've found a total of 10 in 2 days. Does anybody know an area where I can find a decent number of Plant Fibers without spending hours and hours on it?

PS. Why do they insist on making bad armor cool looking? The basic/collector armors are cooler than the useful ones.

The best place, that I know of, is just outside the temple of ages. Those Stalkers[?] (looks like a thin plant / they are mesmers / can't miss them, first thing you see when you exit.) can drop 10 to 20 at one time. If you get a seed from them, it can also give you 3-4 fibers if you salvage it.

Anywhere that has those plant guys -Thorny Stalkers, I think they are?- is good. They don't drop too terribly often, but when they do it's usually to the tune of 10-20 plant fibers at a time. Really annoying that nothing until the western krytan swamps(around the temple) drops plant fibers, since I need them for linens for even the early mesmer armors.
