run, Forrest, run! And watch aggro bubble. You don't *have* to kill everything on the sight

it would suck indeed if every area in the game was doable with the first attempt. I enjoyed a LOT trying to capture a black bear with my level 11 in Lornar's pass because it was so freaking hard for her .

Granite is not that hard to get to.

Once you get there, have fun trying to capture elite skills from Mineral Springs. That's about 10x harder.

I think I made the run to cidatel a long time ago, or had someone run me. But phew, that copperhammer run is HARD. I wish I could make it...then it'd be like an ez 30k a run.

But the run to grotto is easy! Just like the port sledge run.

Why is it hard?

I can get there with hench, and cap a few elites on the way!

If you have problems that a little persistance can't handle getting to Copperhammer or Granite Citadel, perhaps you need to rethink your character's build or stop trying to run it.

Stop being a wimpy runner and fight your way there. I was in a group, we ran and died... so I said lets fight, we made it all the way to the end, we died another time and two people left (Morons)

At which point we set traps and pull the last mobs in a stream of death!

Running is for the weak. so I think it's funny how people quit after one or two deaths, I mean come on!

lolz, I calmed down and did things the old fashioned way. I get so into rushing that I leave out the fun parts of the game some times =(. Sorry everyone had to hear me rant but that's that. And as someone said, at least it wasn't about the economy

On a side note, I have to say 15K platemale looks DAMN cool.

I paid a 105 monk to run me because i was busy trying to remove my ingrowing toenail.
It's half off....ooh the puss.

Anyway, he made it on the second attempt because he got poisoned on the first...gotta love the bad spawns and DoT

Moladune-Copperhammer = Very tricky

The game is much easier when you are calm isn't it? A lot of times when I get really annoyed I tend to keep rushing through things over and over until I finally finish. However in retrospect I know I would have done it faster if I would just stop being so stubborn and give myself time to cool off and play with a cleared mind.

I did it with Henchmen the other night. It was a time consuming job. But if you just fight one mob at a time then heal and recharge it can be done. I tried to fight through the last group on the bridge just before the gate to Granite. This was not working. So after my last death and being -60 I just got as close as I could threw healing breeze on my fighter henches, called a target, threw healing breeze on my self and ran to the gate. That was my only "running part". We killed everything else on the way to that point.

lol Getting to Granite Citadel is hard? It's a pitty you don't have to get an Elite skill in Majesty's Rest, since that is hard.

The game is hard, so I will embrace the utmost reality of the term 'lame' and pay some idiot who most likely BOUGHT their level on Ebay and get run to an area that, although I cannot possibly seem to be patient and get there legitimately, I somehow SURELY can survive it AFTER arriving.

I agree with the "why is it hard?" people here. Only my Mesmer has had trouble with it, and it's because henchamn AI has the attention span of a gnat, so I can't switch off to interrupt someonw without all my henchies running around with their heads off. Take it easy, kill the things on the way and it's fine - a necro and a ranger so far have made it. Maybe I got lucky with the skill capping in the Mineral Springs, but I found it harder to get to Mineral springs than to go in and cap. Heck, I killed a mob while afk because I had alt-tabbed to look up where my boss spawned and a patrol ran into us while I was reading. If my henchies could do it without me I imagine that it isn't too bad. Mesmer has just gotten to copperhead and done Sanyi (wow - so easy as a mesmer... Shatter Hex and chaos storm ftw...) and when I tried to go north I died, but I'm sure I'll get there, just will need to re-think things a bit.

It's all about perseverance. I took some hench, it took 45 minutes and 60% DP, but I got there. Try fighting the end mob with 60% DP, yeah, fun stuff.
