Arrow North of Piken Square: Trade for a belt pouch?

Ok, a while back I was exploring the map (ongoing personal quest to fill in the whole map with my main character), and I found this spiffy little area north of Piken Square, as the bird flies. I had to get there from Noloni. Long trip, let me tell you. Anyway, I found some interesting things there, like the Abomination necromancer monsters. They were level 11 (huge for the area), and the only other place I've seen anything like them was outside of the Emberlight Camp, before Ring of Fire. Nasty monsters, even to my level 20. Oddly, they drop an item that can be traded to a collector in the same area for a Belt Pouch. Did they actually expect people to go to that area without already buying a belt pouch or was that there for enterprising players?

That, and I found this interesting ruin:

Are you talking about Dragon's Gullet? You can go from Grendich Courthouse, through Flame Temple Corridor to get to it? Thats the only area I know of where hydra and those Abomination fleshy things are. They are tough, killed my solo E/Mo when I came to a boss in a group of hydra... I know there are some cool paintings in there and claws from hydra craft into belt pouches.

Dragon's Gullet is just like most of The Falls in the jungle, just an extra zone to explore if you like exploring. There are two collectors in that zone also. I forget what the other one offers but that belt pouch collecter seems rather useless.

There are Hydras in the Ascalon Foothills and a corner of the Flame Temple Corridor as well.
