There are NO green items that have a +60 mod built in. There are green items that have two innate +30hp bonuses that would have been the staff wrapping and the staff head if the mods show up.

There is no magical +60hp innate mod that is going to eliminate the regular +30hp mods.

Yeah necrozsi, you have 300 ectos and 2 FoW sets, but your WAY above 90% of the people that play this game. Such as me, I had like a 13-19 sword and I've beaten this game on 2 chars. I only have like 12k in my storage and that's total. So the other day I happened to come across a green sword in sorrows furnace, and this had to be the best thing that ever happened to me on GW. Mainly because, I'm not as fortunate as you to have everything in the game and gold godly weapons and FoW armors and etc. So I'm sorry for all of you with either no lives or just alot of time on your hands to make 293009239023 million plat and whine when your complaining about something that people such as me LOVE. If you wan't a 15>50 sephis axe, go buy one. Yeah, there's a green one but you can tell all your GW friends that you have a non-green godly axe.

Who cares? ANet added a new type of weapon that is better/more rare and now the "economy" is ruined. QQ more.

ok i meant 2 +30s. 30+30=60. would people bother buying any other mods when they already have 2 perfect health mods inside? +30 health mods are v rare previously, let alone 2 of them. now u pick up an item with 2 of them on it together with other mods, would people be buying the +30 health mods at the price they are supposed to be at?

That, in my opinion, is a bad example. I would personally prefer to get a staff with +energy than the stupid +60 health green. Why? My casters don't need some high health like a tank, I will be safe enough in the back... if I am taking to much damage then either someones is letting things reach me or I need to pay more attention .

The economy is not at all, ruined. Instead, it has greatly shifted. Ruining the economy would lead to depression, which leads to nobody with money, which has not happened...

Green didnt ruin the economy at all.

From what i can see.. green items give the players with not a whole lot of money an opportunity to have a weapon with max stats. Most players are still coveting the gold max stat weapons rather than being content with the green items. Green items are selling in game for <20K for the most part, because there are so many of them. Gold items that arent that great are selling for less and perfect gold items are still selling for a lot.

Grren Items didn't ruin the economy, they are just boss weapons that can't be custimized, u could probably do almost the same thing with a plain old weapon

More than likley, Anet is going to tapper off the abundance of green items as they work thier way into the marketplace. Think about game console launches. They ship more the first few weeks than any other time because that is the peek demand time. Probally will be the same here.

However with the green items that drop so easily now, with perfect mods and upgrades.

i have about 300 ectos just sittin in my storage and there is nothin in the market that interests me. Before the patch i would of prob payed millions for a max 15>50 sephis axe...but now there is a green one with low req, 15>50.
Even as we speech more and more of these are being found. and i already got 2 sets of fissure armor for my war and necro so i really dont know why i should continue to farm or even play pve.

To me green items actually take away the fun in playin PVE, this is because before the patch lets say i go on a mission and find a gold max sword, i would be somewhat excited because maybe it would be 15>50 or with +30life. But now i can just walk outside war camp and do 2 boss runs and i have a perfect item with perfect upgrades. There is no more excitment or joy in finding gold items anymore. so the conclusion i have come to is that i dont really need gold at all now, since green items basically owns everything and its everywhere.

Anyone got suggestions on what i should spend my money on?

Green items never took away the fun of playing pve for me. Having to pay "millions" for a gold would have. Now I don't have to pay millions! Anet rocks!!! Its just more fair to the pve pvpers. I personally am a UAS with only 30 skills and most upgrades and runes unlocked. Did I get a uber weapon untill the patch? Nope. Now my pve toons dont have to be at a disadvantage.
What do you have to whine about anyways? With the introduction of green items you wont have to pay millions for your sephis axe or crystaline crap shoot.

First of all I think green items are great. I have farmed now about 200 hours in high level places, never to find 15>50 weapon. Now I just had to go out of Deldimor war camp, solo one boss and find 15>50 weapon first time in my life. It was great. I have about 1000k in my storage, so I have more money than I can spend on reasonable things. I also play a lot with pvp characters so I don't have to buy 15>50 items, because pve doesn't require them. It is still a thrill to find a golden item and identify it, and I think that is the funniest part in farming and it is still there, the green items didn't change that.

Personally, I still favor rare items over green items. Greens will always be the same, while a rare could be anything. It's more of a collector's item. I would never pay that much if I was wanting it for its stats.

To all those that are happy because the green items gave a good option for pvp, why didn't you just go to the crystal desert and get a collector item? okay, yes, you'll want some good mods for it, but anet could have brought the mods down somehow else and perhaps put more attention to the desert collectors ingame. The main reason greens piss me off though is cause there are one million clones of the same thing out there, anet (yes i've said it before but I'll say it again) could just have random mods and names based on weopon type/boss.

Actually they are very rare, they drop less often than ecto, do not drop at all with henches, impossible to solo for one, and the chances of you getting into a group that have enough brain function to even get to the bosses where they might drop is less than the chances of the drop in the first place.

Why would people bother with the other mods over the innate 60?

Because two +5 armor mods for a caster makes two +30hp mods look like crap.

Need we discuss +5 armor > +30hp again?

Like has been said MANY times already, Most of the green items are perfect or near perfect for some specific builds, but definately not across the board.

Oh, and PLEASE tell me how many people will be trampling each other to get Wroth's Holy Rod?

No, not really. At least not the ones dropping close to the war camp.

Well, I got me a green wotshisface staff with 5 henches yesterday, so they do drop even if you're playing with henches - it's just that with 5 henches there's an 83% chance one of the henches will get it.

Got it from the first boss I killed after fighting my way through Snakedance from Rankor. I then spent a couple of hours mucking about in Grenths Footprint, found a couple of superior runes and gold items, all worthless but I'm sure better stuff is out there.

However, I wont bother farming in Grenths Footprint. Just didn't strike me as very fun. So my mesmer picked up the storyline again.

Incidentally I decided to test the waters, and tried selling the staff for 20K. Jumped between district 1-2 of LA, Ascalon, and Droknars. Not a single serious offer (best offer I got was 600 gold).
