Default SF Overated?

I think that SF is totally overated, does anyone think this also.. I meen Everyone thinks that's the best to farm. But really the drops arn't that great and everyone is trying to sell green items for 50-100k... bullcrap..But don't get me wrong it's a great place to fight and experiance but many people are too crazy about it

I kind of agree with you, i certainly have more fun there then any other area in the game. i am not there to get uber weapons or anything, i am there to kill and have fun. so with all the mobs in the area, its perfect for me.

they like it
they think it is fun
they like the artwork

if they express how they feel they are fanboy crazy.

if you think it is over rated use it in moderation or stay away.

why piss on them for enjoying it and saying they do?

First off the greens really don't go for that much if you bother to look for te people not trying to scam.. most of the green items go from 20k and below and even then that's high on some items. =P

I don't think the place is over rated. It's different from everywhere else, a new place, something different. So far I haven't seen anyone go crazy over this place except greens which have calmed down a lot actually.. anyone going for 60k for the 'common' greens ar considered crazy and since they don't listen cause they're greedy and should get the 'right' amount so one will buy from them unless someone is that desperate.

Also didn't your other thread got closed? (The one complaining about those who don't speak english) Because it was a complaint spam?

It's not from my perspective, the way they set up the quests, sub quests, the varity (as working for the bad guys and exploring when mobs are mostly green [galen] as one small example), the new music w/direct sound plug, and the visual's are far diffrent.

There are so many things that they put in (if you stop to smell the roses) and little things (again see Galen and the npc random chatting). I think the developers have learned a great deal of things in quest design since it's launch. If chapter 2 quests are going to be done this way, it's going to be awesome just doing quests and new missions.

Now from a farming perspective, it's rather simplistic and very so I can see it being overated from a zone kill boses, repeat point of view.

With SF and the titan quests I'm actually getting skill points again.

I've made over 400k so far from SF. It's not overrated to me anyway. Just my 2 cents.

I consider it to be like any other area except with some quests thrown in. The drops seem rubbish compared to when SF was first launched, although i understand the need to prevent the "stabilising" economy from being flooded.

Out of my playing today, i had more good stuff from one excursion into nebo terrace than i did all day in Grenths and Sorrows!
A superior vigor from a skeleton ranger...thankyou very much

Solo farm Sorrows Furnace and sell Greens for reasonable prices (10k-15k), fastest way to make money.

But you can't solo farm Sorrow's Furnace, at least not fast enough to make a profit better than farming lvl 8 Charr. Or lvl 24 Charr...

Anyhow, the only greens I've seen going for 50k+ are the more desirable ones, like the monk weapons, warrior axes, swords, and shields, Drago's bows, and Rago's stuff. Basically supply < demand right now, and since the green drop rates seem to be nerfed, it'll be like that for some time.

I would disagree, I like the layout and that the quests have a bit more personality. I also like the update in the creature AI, my PvE skill set for SF is closer to my PvP set than anywhere else on the map.

u lucky bastard!! I don't know, maybe I'm just unlucky in SF. From all those runs I did down there I only got a Gold Short Bow (not perfect). BUT!!! I got an ish load of CRAFTING materials from salvaging some of the drops!!

SF is not meant to farm. Its too large and drops are really poor. Trying to solo it slows you down so much that its not worth the time. And even the best green item is not worth days of farming. Go farm where you can solo easily, sell your stuff and buy the greens you need. That will save lots of time
