IMO SF is harder, I've done all the fire island missions with henches. Caping those breeze keepers in ROF can be a pain, I have to go back in ROF with my monk to cap a breeze keeper and my luck it'll probably be after I kill those spiders and worse lava imps.....and I was right.

SF, no contest.

I soloed the end of the Ring of Fire mission (cleared out everything inside the front gate, including the level 28 bosses) with my Necro. Keep in mind my necro wasn't even built for soloing - just battery + life syphoning.

Granted SF isn't hard at all either, with the exception of mabey Orozar quest, I'd still say that the Titan missions surpass both in difficulty.

I would have to say ring of fire, SF is not that hard, I usually take henches and go.

Definately ROF is harder. SF is do-able over and over with henchman and I'm a Warrior (harder to control henchies there). Stupid Jades :P

Yeah, I've henched SF & RoF now too, and RoF was definitely the harder. At least until I learned that it's much easier to go in through the front door than to do as the vizier tells you and sneak around the back.

Final assault I think is a bit harder then Ring of Fire. Orazor is up on difficulty for the groups were were in. I do pug's so that part of the difficulty.

Man... were having loads of problems trying to complete a few of the Sorrow's Furnace quests. RoF is hard, but nowhere near as entertaining as Sorrow's.

I think that concernaing exploration RoF is harder, that's true. Now talking about quests SF reaches first place. Orozar is MUCH harder than the RoF quests and final assault is not that hard as you can't lose by letting a stupid dwarf die but still harder than all RoF quests.

Concerning Titan's quests they are IMO around same level as orozar but could be easier if you start from another far outpost to get a larger group.

I'll do it how John did it:

The whole game before RoF < RoF

The whole game including RoF > SF

RoF is the single hardest mission in the entire game. I've cleared Abaddon's Mouth and Hell's Precipice with 7 henchmen + my mesmer. I cannot get my ranger though RoF with my friend's warrior + 6 henchmen. We're good up until we take out the seals to the front gate.

I ran though SF with my mesmer + 7 henchmen and tried helping each NPC exactly once. Only managed to complete the slave trader one. I could have done 2 of the others (not the priest one) with henchmen had I been more prepared for what was going to happen. I suspect all quests can be completed with 2 players + 6 henchmen with relative ease.

My vote is that RoF is more difficult.

There is an easier way to do orozar, and it basically cuts the quest down to part A, then its over.
Final Assault is easier than RoF, did final assault first time.

so my vote goes to RoF.

Whow,
while often playing with henchies I've yet to find out how this should work!

Sending in Devona and Thom to kill the mursaat tower and keeping meself & the other henchies safely outside it's range? I'd be pleased to hear some hints!

Have fun!
