On my first SF run i got a Stinger, i was on a 5 men party. Later on i decided to bring some NPC's for the run, so i got myself 4 henchies including me. We also know that henchies likes to lower your drop rate, but i got a Green Necro Scepter and lots of salvage stuff, including some crappy blues. I think this is just a matter of pure dumb luck. So i don't really know if anything got nerfed or not... but it feels like everything is normal to me. This could be wrong but i also heard that loot rate is increased when the Gods favors America. Can i get some clarification about this issue with the Gods?

Out of the last like 5,5 man sf runs I have done,not a single green has dropped for anyone. And the chests seems to be crap now to,nothing but purples for me.

known fact the more you visit an area the less drops you are going to get. i've gone through SF once and got many greens. i go there about every 2 weeks or so and farm. i get lots of drops every time b/c i don't go there all the time.

the reduction in drops you are seeing is b/c you are there 24/7 and go no where else. rotate your spots out so you don't run them dry. if you know a good spot keep it to yourself or see it nerfed.

well i had these problems alot i went on at least 34 trips (i counted) NO DROPS EXCEPT FOR FLINTS ARTOFACT!!!!!! but itll pay off trust me i got malinons sheild yesterday and a week before that thorgalls trust me u will get nothing then an amzing 100k+ drop gl

Where did you find these? I have played the game over 700 hours, completed it with three characters, including SF, and never seen a 15>50 max dmg drop. I farmed uw solo with my monk before they nerffed it and got only ectos, no eternal shields or bows. I just want to see 15>50 drop even once in my lifetime.

I've had 1 green drop - The Rockmolder... Woohooo for my Monk/War, which was kewl, first green drop out of the 3 of us that always play together. I sold it, then started a War/Me (I just realized this) a couple days after selling the greenie.

We've killed a few of the SF bosses and 1 green has dropped... not the best number but there has been a good number of max golds that have come from the chests - I mostly get semi rare shields (with the actual valuable mods 'n such, cuz I know they always say rare).

The reason SF hurts my brain is cuz I go as the Healer and keep Everyone alive... lots of just totally focusing on the party bar... great fun

though we have done most of the quests in there... (cringes at the memory)

Yesterday I did four FA runs with my non-minion necro and 5 henchies and got zero greens. Last run I went around looking at the dead bosses' corpses and noticed Malion dropped his famed shield and hammer but it obviously went to the idiotic suicidal henchies. Tanzit dropped his cleaver, also went to henchies. Ivor dropped his staff, also went to henchies....stupid greedy henchies....lol

Didn't bother to check Rago and the other elem dude.

Oh the other day I found a gold bow with 15>50 at Riverside Province. Unfortunately it's not max, something like 14-27.

Regards the bows... my first chara is a ranger, and I persist in keeping my desert collector bows.... which all exist in each class of bows (short, long etc.), max dam, with 15>50 modifiers. I have a short, long, and composite... which i have modded with fiery/icy/lightining strings and other grips based on my needs. Consequently, i have not been pining for green bows too much.... my collector bows, when customized offer equal or better damage imo anyway.

And respectfully, though we have spectulated much, is there any "official proof" that drops get nerfed from running an area repeatedly... AND if that is the case...how in the world do the Ebay/other farmers get so much loot from running the same pattern/bosses day in and day out? Just wondering... the shadows want to know..

Drops do get nerfed when farming an area repeatedly. You notice gold items become purple and then blue when an area is farmed too often. You can still sell the crappy drops for gold though.

There is actually a message that shows up if you do the hardest of the hardcore farming. This hilariously happened to someone in HoH when his team steamrolled people so fast the program thought he was killing the first few enemies and then zoning like a farmer.

Is it still possible to farm greens?

I mean when I first began, yeah it was all good...i got a few good green drops. But now somehow everytime i go with a group. It doesnt matter the size, either 1 or 2 drops that i dont go or none at all. I mean i spend at least minim 45 mins in there each run. Also at the fact that its been almost a month since I've gotten my last green.

And that staff of Rago's, Ive tried so hard to get it, but what happens everytime it drops...someone else gets it. Ive began tried of farm SF. its gettin anyonying.

Anet... Stop holding back on the greens....
They should produce a more fair dropping system...

The greens are dropping, but if you're only going into SF and nowhere else, then drops will be quite lower for you.

actually i go to SF everyday and i have gotten malinions shield, razorstone, ragos flame staff, ragos flame wand, kindlerock, and dragos flatbow. thats in a 3 day period kiddies
