We need a HUGE sticky saying SEARCH FORUM FIRST, but anyway whilst I'm replying:

To change secondary, you must:

- ascend
- go to one of the three desert towns and talk to the ghosts in there, they will give you quests to change secondary profession.
- do the appropriate quest
- return to the ghost, change profession.

If you don't know where the town's are, complete Dragon's Lair Mission and then when in Droknar's Forge, talk to Vanyi. Likewise if the ghost's aren't giving quests, do this and talk to Vanyi.

Yes, you retain your previously earnt skills in your case all the skills from W will be there if you choose to change back to R/W, however you will need to pick up an additional secondary change quest for warrior.

I thought they were lost! I wouldn't mind switching to another secondary but I want to be able to back if I don't like it. This is good news.

If you do change your secondary at this point is buying skills (or capping) the only way to learn them for your new class?

Prior to a far distant patch you had to repeat your quests to get the skills for the "new" profession.

I had completed all the change prof quests long ago.

I initially changed to messer and had to go start over with the quest again. the same when I changed to Ranger shortly after that .
Jsut a couple weeks ago I changed to Monk for the fiorst tiem and I had already "learned" allof the skills that I woulsd hve received had I gone back and repeated the same quests again.

IMO automatically getting all those skills ((let's just say it made me quite unhappy). I didn't get the specific skills I wanted. - I don't think I got a skill that was not available before acension.

BE AWARE!!! Watch how you spend your SP When your out - your out.
No matter how easy it is to get XP it is still a pain when yor out to capture a special elite.
Every mission and every area you go into after ascension has bosses falling all over each other to show off their elite skills for you.
Make certain you have enough SP to take advantage of this over population. Many times I wished I could have had three SoCs with me.

Only get the "good" skills that you know you will be using.

Check the prices If I'm not mistaken SoCs are 2K each while the non-elite skills you buy are 1K each. SIf so save your SoCs for elites only.
If so
