the advices sure helps, i did the Defend North Kryta on my First try, with a 3 monks team, battery necro, E, 2W and a ranger i think.
Is the Denravi quest harder? which class of enemy u will go against? Eles or wars?

Did yesterday Last day dawns with my 2nd char. We managed to kill all groups except the last Titan in the last mob. He killed us, then killed the king while we were respawning. We got a little *bling* that the questlog was updated, looked into it and voilĂ , back to Glint for the xp. King was still dead though

Defend Kryta however, still fails to succeed, despite of various compositions and excellent teamplay

For people having trouble with Defend Kryta/Denravi, necros are pretty useful since they can use well of power pretty much constantly. Mend ailment is pretty important to take on your monk, since the mobs blind so much. Take as many protective spells as you can. If you are an ele, bring wards, if you are a necro bring some wells, etc. If you wanted to get cute, you could probably have two or three characters with healing seed and just make a healing ball.

Some sort of quick energy gain is critical as well. When I did these quests, both me and the other monk had offering of blood. That or energy drain is a must for this imo.

I did it a few times. Ideal party is
-2 GOOD healer and prot (both) monks,
-1w,
-1 ele (air/water)

I found necro minion master to be less effective here than 1 or 2 ele in this unlike denravi quest.

No its easyer, very similar but less mobs. you would go fine with a standart team of 2 war, 2 monks 1 ele 1 necro.

I just got done with the Krytan mission, and I'm proud to say our group didn't have one death (3 monks, including me, but still :P).

Haven't tried Denraavi quest yet, and our team got trounced doing Last Day Dawns (someone leaving in a 4 man group hurts, lol).

My echo nuker finally finished all of them. The group i was in did Titan's source with 6 people by leaving from Yak's. it was still hard though but suprisingly the 3 titan bosses themselves were not hard at all (the mesmer one went down really fast). The fact that they were surrounded by red dotes made it hard. Now my monk has to do DD and the Krytan one and then Titan source.

Here is a tip for "Last Day Dawns":

Take a Ranger, and all the ranger needs to bring is:

Healing Spring and Winter!

This mission was dead easy with 4 of us, it was me, a W/Mo, a Mo/W and a N/Me.

Using Healing sprint I was able to help the Monk, and I kepted myself, the whole team AND all the NPCs alive...!

Winter helps to kill the Titans faster as you guess.

Just a few pieces of advice for those having problems with Defend North Kryta:
- Have a monk with Martyr and Purge conditions, it's nice if a */Mo can bring it too.
- A Minion Master helps a lot here, the minions will not just help killing the titans, but also "distract" them most of times.
- If you're having problems with Captain Greywind, the before the fight start, make sure everyone is out of his aggro range(aka "bubble"), so he won't join the battle.
- Although some people think it's wrong, taking the Rotting Titans befre the wind/earth/water born titans, is actually a good thing, the rotting titan spams poison and wells of whatever they're called.

As for Last Day Dawns, lots of people have been doing it the "bugged" way, which means, killing all the titans even if the king have died, rezoning and talking to the king will work(If I just knew about it before...).

Defend Droknar's Forge & Defend Henge are piece of cake, I had no problems with them on both of my characters who have done it on PUG teams.

Ah finally, the end of the world is not going to happen!

We defended Kryta yesterday night, with a lot of success. 8 players (from Temple of Ages), 3 of them being elementalists, 2 monks, 2 rangers and a necro. You should have seen meteors and flame coming from the sky! A beauty. We had Well of Powers all the time, tanks to our good necro. We fought like crazy, but we won.

At the end of the final battle, monsters were casting some crazy crap on me: I was blinded, poisoned, cripple... Crazy stuff. So if you want to trade some firepower with some healing with Melandru's resilience, I think it can be a good idea (My elite was poison arrows).

I am happy that this mission is over. Will not do it again in a near futur.

Did Droknar's, Denravi and LDD without too much difficulty in some PUGS. Stuck on Kryta, can't seem to get a good group going for it. Go to Lion's Arch and can only get 6 from there. ToA can get 8 but no one seems to be interested there, they are all there for UW and FoW.

You have to leave from LA, if you go somewhere else, it goes back to talk to Scout whathisname. I tried a couple of times with the same result.

Just did defend Kryta last night with my elementalist. We all talked to Sergio at LA then went to TOA to form the 8-man team.

Ran to Bergen to remove any DP, no one died during the run though, and then switched skills and departed for Ascalon Settlement. Lots of planning on what skills to bring etc.

What can I say, we finished the quest and someone even said they thought it was quite easy

We had 1 warrior, 3 elementalists, 2 monks, 1 mesmer and 1 ranger.

There are no melee types for this quest so it seems to be easier for caster types.

That's what they always say after sucessful completition of a quest or a mission.
It pushes the ego.

What's really starting to bug me about the Titan quests is finding people to do it with. Hench are not an option so I'll take sane or sucidial, but it's just a sheer lack of bodies. Especially for Titan Source. Finding even one other looking for TS in Courthouse is amazing; hopping to Yak's for "the cheater method" usually turns out that any 20ths you see are runners.

Sad, really. They're pretty challenging. I think I know why there's few people doing them. They're challenging and long... and no one drops green items.

I just finished Last Day Dawns with a few good players. I just wanted you guys to know that my Ranger did very well, espacially with the underestimated skill...

Healing Spring! Yea, healing spring.

I have 15 points in survival. We had no monk. I kept the king, his guards and our only warrior alive throughout the battle, including myself, with this trap. I can say with confidence that this skill made the difference. 60 HP, every 2 seconds for 10 seconds, 4 times.

Pretty cool.
