Thirsty is easy just like any other mission you just have to have a smart team.

Talking about doing it by yourself, with henchies. It seems that everyone who has taken it, including myself, has monk primary or secondary. My ranger/monks can take it. Not my necro/mesmer, so far at least. Just interested in seeing if another n/me has taken this mission alone, what henchmen were taken, and what skills were used.

a decent warrior can take out any of the priests solo, even the one that is supported by josso. josso himself is a bit tougher for a lone warrior to take down but he tends to be pretty vunerable to degens and doesn't heal conditions.

the easy way to beat this mission is to just use the same basic tactic;

1) time your attack so that you start the assault just as the timer ticks over
2) spend the first minute cleaning up as many soft mobs (necros/eles) as possible and even some of the archers and tanks if possible.
3) on the 1 minute mark have 2 single target damage dealers rush the priest (warriors do well at this) and take him down quickly while the rest of the party deal with the other mobs
4) take out the boss then clean up the other mobs.

I'm now up to 6 passes on this mission with 0 fails. all were with Pugs and only 2 of them were what I'd really call well organised groups. I've even managed to make it through with no monks, 2 people dropping early and a useless elementalist who spent his whole time nuking lone tanks and ignoring target calls. even with basically just 2 warriors and a necro we took down all the groups without much trouble using the above steps.

I find most missions from desert onwards hard but not that one, as long as I make my own team and can order them about i'm fine ^^

First my n/mo went battery (i play pure necro and rarely ulitize monk skills. Recently I've been experimenting with those with mixed results) necro but my groups kept getting slaughtered so I decided to try going minion master. The next group we did the bonus easily.

You could beat thirsty just using henchies, the only problem i'm always having if im not having any interupting skills with my own character(for the last boss(5th group, totally on the left..), but for the rest, its quite easy to beat...

Some minor fast tips:
1) Always lure
2) If u just killed a group in like 2:30, wait till 3:45 again to attack the next(they get ressed every 2 mins like 02:00-04:00-06:00, just make sure u dont kill anything before the 4 mins, only try to damage them.
3) Be sure the team has plenty interupt teams, they are always usefull, not only for the lastboss/priest
4) Be sure the ghost stay's back, if he dies, its game over..

Hope they were usefull, dont got much time to type a good guide or w/e

I hate to play this mission with henchies.
I took the healer and protection henchman with me and the others that are strong for this mission, but.... They were so stupid to die.
But anyway... Im ascended now so I had completed the mission too, but with a very good teamwork with real life players.
I think thats the best way to complete.
