New Christmas Quests and Items?!?!?!?!
Well on the website they said that one of the updates included long Christmas quests and a gingerbread shield? Anybody wanna tell me wuts up and how u get it?

Just go to Lions Arch lol. Talk to Nikolas and you'll get 2 quests, get gingerbread / peppermint shields

I got the gingerbread shield.
Old Nicholas will have two quests. I did the "greatest snow man" one which has you collect special coal, a pipe and a magical hat. The coal is in Ascalon by Simon the scribe (area with all the large paintings) there is a guard there who has it. The pipe you get from the king in Droknar forge (for those who ascended, he stands where you arrive off the boat from Dragon's Lair) Third piece, the hat can be gotten from the Magi who gives skills in LA. From there you will need to either group (or solo) for a defence of Nebo Villlage. There are three ways to there, LA, Beetletum, or hot springs. I found Beetletum was the best route, shorter and you can sneak in behind the enemy. But if you go the other routes, you can team up with a very large snowman. Kill off the groups, the boss and your all set. Return to LA for your 5000exp reward and some gingerbread or peppermint items. |
