For weeks now I have been trying to get a PUG together to do Final Assault....everyone wants to farm. I despise farming.....it's annoying to me. I just want to do the freakin' quests and missions and then MAYBE, I'll wander around.

Am I the only person in GW who doesn't want to farm? I just want to do Final Assault. Of course, I'm a Ranger primary so that means I'm destined to be black-balled anyway, but ....(@*#&!.

Really, though, I want to know, are there other people out there who don't WANT to farm?

i have hard times finding people to do quests and missions, everyone is just standing around. And yes, i hate farming as well.

Sorrow's Furnace is just like any other quests in the game now: They have been out for awhile, most people have already completed them, few really care to do them over again.

I prefer the term "dungeon crawling".

Which is probably only applicable to that area in the game, which is a shame really. Dungeon crawling rocks!

The thing that buggers me to no end is people with the wrong attitude, who complain after every boss drop when there were no "greens". Or even worse those who complain only 10 minutes into it that the drops "are bad". They can't even crack a joke about it or just enjoy the team working together to clear the dungeon.

I agree, I have had a hard time getting into a group being a Mesmer primary as it seems everyone is looking for the 5 man farming groups. I ended up doing most of the missions with henchmen and finally got into a group for the final assault last night. Unfortunately I got the dreaded net err7 after about a half hour into the mission, just my luck.

I too have been looking for a party to do this. I hate farming and just want to do the damn few quests I have left! Mainly The Forge Heart as that's the last one and is nearly impossible with just henchies (which I almost always use for everything else). I've tried it 5 times with just henches and got 2 of the rage binders killed with the 3rd half dead before another resurrected. I've also done it 5 times with a group who says they want to do the quest but only really want to frickin farm and leave right at the end! BAH!

Anyway, I'd be willing to help as I'm an experienced W/Mo (an example would be that I finished Thunderhead Keep bonus with just henches). I mainly need The Forge Heart and if possible, Defend North Kryta, which I've now officially labeled impossible. I've had 3 really good groups try that damn quest 5 times each with no success. Grrr... It's really hard to find anyone for that quest anymore it seems... :-\

I understand that people have done them, however, there are also people who are still buying the game, so I know I am not the ONLY person (with the exceptions of LittlBUGer, Toral Xi, and JMFD

I should be online later tonight after work around 9pm Mountain Time. I'll try to look for you too.

The way I was thinking is that even if we can only get a party of 2-4 people and use the rest as henches, it's still possible to do it, since if we can kill 2 of the rage binders at once, the third wont be a problem. Then after that it's just luring the Flame guys one by one.

As for DNK... well, that's a whole other issue... heh. I'd be happy for now to just get the Forge Heart quest done.

i recently came back to guild wars and would like to play sorrow's furnace, see the new areas, make jokes in team chat and generally have a bit of relaxed fun doing the new quests.

unfortunately i have never been able to complete all of the furnace quests because it is difficult to find any group that wants to do anything other than farm orozar's instance for green items. i would like to play final assault.

i did some of the furnace quests with all henches but it just wasnt the same and i found them to be not very much fun. so hit me up in game when someone wants to do sorrow's quests.

I havent done most of the quests in SF. I got tired of looking for groups to do them and just went along exploring and killing stuff. I dont deny that I farm and have farmed this area, but not as hardcore as some people do.
Anyways, my ingame character is Zaa Nayazu, I can help out on any quest and can be W/R, W/Mo, W/N.
