hi i am tired of doing the mission and failing over and over

i am going to for a group ima n/me lvl 20 SS/SV (I got echo)

and so far we have my guildy hes a w/mo sword

if you would like to join the group you may First Come First Serve as in if i say you in the group you are and if your not on at the time there will be some 1 to replace you thats y im going to make a list of people who are in

You are forgetting the mesmer, interrupting can be very handy and a domination mesmer can do wonders here. Cuz the nuker will see alot of -20 with his most powerfull spells vs the armors.

If you haven't learned the use of a mesmer, you'll learn soon enough, they tend to be quite popular on the fire islands (cuz you learn how usefull they are in this and the following missions).

Not that i need this mission tho, just a tip.

Umm. i dont wanna sound pompous or discouraging. But dude! THK is NOT difficult. I just helped get a guild mate through. The group was 3 real players total, with henchies, beat it first time through. This isnt rare either, i always end up helping guildies get through THK cause they also keep failing it with PuGs. And everytime i group just one or two then bring rest as henchies they think im crazy. But we pass it EVERY time....

Just learn how to control your henchmen correctly, and once in the fortress just stay in between the stairs to the king at the bottom. That way you can easily snare any aggro from attacking the king. Also, its all about focus fire (target calling). Make sure you and your party follow direction and focus fire.

IMHO, this is an ideal mission for henchies, because it requres good direction/communication, and henchies do exactly that (again, if you know how to control them correctly).

ill tell you what. heres the easiest key to beating thunderhead. find a good stance tank to hold the torch and camp the king. everything will draw aggro straight to your stance warrior. ive beaten THK every time on the first try using this. Also have a good monk.

edit: you can use this torch method with henchmen effectively if you have anything defensive that you can use like stances, etc...

The thing that irratates me the most is the same thing that Effendi said... Where is your Mesmer? There is nothing like having a great group and no one to effectively shutdown a Monk Boss.
