is solo UW really worth it that much since ecto price is so low, if ur there for stormbows and eternal shields the chances of them being rare is slim to none, not worth it now imo

definitely still worth it, had a great run earlier, the cash drops alone make it worthwhile IMO, i mean, what do u really want money for? If u want 700k+ sitting in ur storage soloing UW might not be the quickest way to get it, but if u just wanna make enough so u will have more then u can spend, UW is quick and easy, and Ectos r still worth 10k, u can sell em to a merchant for 7.5k (last time i checked) but they arent in stock, people want them, people will still have to pay 10k for em

i made a total 100k yesterday solo'n the uw, and that was just gold drops(gp) of course i played all day, and collected 5 ectos and a buncha materails, and for someone like me looking for specific weapon or items for other characters that i don't seem to be able to get just getting drops it's def worth it,i need the cash, your talking about a 3-5k per run, plus if your looking to get fissure armor, you can collect ectos and save yourself some cash.

480-425=55 (75x5+50=425)

Not to brag or anything but after building my monk up and getting set for UW, I had just over 7K left in storage. And now after 4 days of Soloing UW I have around 218K in storage. And Now I'm about done with it. Im good waiting for the summer (fall) update to come out. And Im not greedy either, Every storm/eternal bow I get thats not purple or gold I take to Ascolon city and give to a low level Ranger for free!

Yes, so you just double up on one. Something cheap, you wont get the points from it, but you will get the -75hp.

they may be slim to none, but say that to my unided rare storm bow of req 10. i think i'll hold it for a little while.

the whole point is that if you dont try, you wont get anything.

wow i finally finished reading the whole thing, nice builds but if someone can think of something similar but with an e/mo i would be even happier.
this is my current build:

energy storage 16
smite 12

draw conditions/symbol of wrath
divine boon
ether renewal (gives 5 energy and 21 health per cast at this lvl for anyone curious)
balthazars spirit
aura of restoration
zealots fire
and i cant think of a good last skill

I do well with an E/Mo, using only about 8 energy storage, that's including the +4 from sup rune and headgear.
The rest of my points go into smiting, protection and healing.
Smiting is maxed, healing is at the level that gives +3 mending and protection is high enough to give about 15 sec prot. bond
I use Balth's Aura, Ether Renewal, Zealot's Fire, Healing Breeze or Divine Boon, Prot. Bond, Mending, Balth's Spirit and Essence Bond.

I was thinking about Blessed Aura........and whether to swich it with Sheild of Judgement

SoJ works verywell for coldfires in UW and if you agrro too many foe's
But With Blessed Aura (and weapon upgrade with Enchant 20% longer) you could cast Balth Aura and it will recharge before it finishs soo you could have it constantly.

But would losing SoJ be too big of a loss?

I'm going to try 1 run with it......i'll post back if it works well

SoJ has the advantage that it works on ranged attackers, such as coldfires and terrorwebs(when they are out of energy to cast that is)

I believe Bleesed Aura costs you an arrow doesn't it? You have to be careful about running -5 arrows because the wrong drain can kill your Protective Bond...

First of all, thanks miteethor for a great build.

I've been fairly successful using it in the UW. I've been trying to use it in FoW and keep running into energy issues against shadow monks/shadow warriors in particular. Right now, I have 48 energy with flat regen. I can cast SoJ, then balth aura, and I'm down to 8. I cast blessed signet and I can get back up to around 20. However, SoJ is not recharged yet, and I don't have enough energy to cast aura again, so I have to wait; meanwhile the targets heal too quickly. If I'm getting hit fast enough I can cast bonetti's, but all to often I'm not getting hit often enough.

I was thinking... would it be dangerous to switch to temporarily switch to either a +15 energy / -1 regen wand or +27/-1 focus (or even both)? As long as I keep my energy above zero, my enchants should stay up, and I think I should net about 34 more energy that way.

I'll try this out tonight, but was curious if anyone else tried this...

the only items i see as a reward for the cities quest are ones for earth and blood magic, nothing monk-like. still possible to get one? sorry if this has been explained, but i read the entire thread and it said nothing about this. am i supposed to use the one for earth or blood magic (even though i wont get any energy bonus)? help appreciated.

You should use the blood focus and yes it wont give you that much energy. But who cares about energy?

the kicker with SoJ is the knockdown effect. it helps a lot when you are constantly being attacked. depending on your build, you need that extra second of downtime to cast healing breeze or whatever you use to heal.

once again, all depending on your build.
