Default 3 Man oro farm.

Anyone managed this? i tried with a mate of mine yesterday, we got as far as the orozar mission, after killing 4 bosses leading up to it. It was just as fast as a normal 5 man run 'cept we got killed after the 1st boss on the actual quest its self...

Anyone completed 3 man as quickly as with 5/4 man?

Informative picture, i know

haha, I don't know of anyone that has completed it, it would be a good thing to try and conquer when we don't have favor

P.M. me in game, I have plenty of firepower in my characters and I would love to help you try this sometime, I am also pretty expirainced in SF and... everywhere else in the game.

I bet it can be done.

All you need is a tank, a monk and some sort of damage. Tank doesnt need to be warrior btw. Ele would probably work nicely.

I'd guess an earth ele, hybrid monk and SS necro

Untrue. After our MM and Tank left us in a 5 man run i bonded the SS necro up and he tanked and casted SS it was slower but it was kinda funny. I didnt take any screen shots =( i wish i had tho.'
EDIT* sry had a little to many drinks and missed part of ur post =) my bad

I'm not sure if I understand what is untrue, but I'm guessing the part where I said "all you need is a tank" well in that case your tank would be your SS necro. By tank I only meant someone to take all the agro.

But since you've had too many drinks :P no problem

So you guys are too tanked to seriously discuss tanks?

My problem with elementalist tanking in SF is that if you're holding the gear then you're NOT holding the staff with the 20% enchantment extension mod. But I guess you could put the gear down and pick it up a lot ...

Well, the other problem is removal/disrupting of enchantments. Builds that are resistant to removal generally are weak against disruption, and vice versa. One extreme solution that could be tried, however, is for the Ele to go Ele/Me for more protection than Glyph of Concentration, while the monk spends his elite slot on Spellbreaker to cover the gaps.

Ele can always use Obsidian Flesh, not to mention the monks enchantments can cover the ele's or vice versa

Bonder with symbiosis + mm tank + spiteful. It's not that hard, all it means is more work for the monk.

Was pretty easy with two Necro, and one Monk.

The whole point is to make a 3 man run that is as fast as a 5 man run, the one we did was as fast - if not faster, however we died on the orozar mission... may aswell give u the proper picture:

As i'm sure most people know, the tank is completely unneccessary - just get ur SS necro to take mantra of resolve, drop all soul reaping and get max inspiration and curses and let him tank, as long as the bonder uses balth spirit on the nec aswell his energy is max most of the time - which makes the run slightly faster . the healing isnt remotely difficult. on this run we did the same - sept i tried to merge the bonder and healer into one... it works pretty well u just have a few energy problems at times.

The MM we used was some random pug, maybe if i tried it with a more experienced one we wuda got further - though i must say he didnt do badly.
