Default Obsidian Burrowers in UW not attacking?

Hey there,

I was doing the Underworld with 2 guildies, and when we were at the Obsidian Burrowers, we noticed they weren't attacking. I came walking towards them with an Elswyth's Long Bow from The Ruins of Tombs ( aka PvE Tombs ) to interrupt their healingspring, and they weren't attacking. I switched to my Villnar's Staff ( yes I was the SS necro ) and they did start attacking.

After a while we noticed that as long as I had the Elswyth's Long Bow in my hands, the Obsidian Burrowers were not attacking, and when I switched to any other weapon, they did attack. I haven't had time to try it another time yet so it may have been a bug, but can anyone confirm this?

It's been a while, I didnt have anything to do and now its definately true.

As you can see here, I'm standing in front of the Obsidian Behemoths ( threadtitle is wrong ) wielding my Elswyth's Long Bow, and theyre not moving an inch: ( I know they cant move, but I mean they dont attack either )

Same as here where he just pops up and watches:

And finally, I switch back to my Villnars Staff, and they start attacking immediately!:

Theory:
-The longbow comes from the underworld. The Obsidians are from the Underworld
-The longbow is a bow ( duh ), the Obsidians are rangers
+ Isn't it like maybe the Scepter of Orr..like they command to that thing or something? Would be cool if anyone else'd try it...because it's worked for me every time now!

Intresting indeed...I may have to test it out sometimes...(if only I had an Elswyth's longbow to test it with....)

but if it does work...it would provide an intresting way to get across the twin serpent mountain and maybe me and my buddy can finally dual the chaos plane. some question though

1) if one person wields the bow do they still attack the other person?
2) does the traps still go off on you (I would imagine yes)
3) does the charged blackness attack when you have the bow up?
4) Is it just the ones in the entrace or do the ones all the way up in the mountain not attack either if you have the bow up?

now....to get a longbow....

the answers:

1) they will only attack him if he's out of my range...which is quite big
2) ofcourse they do
3) unfortunately yes, but theyre easy to kill anyways
4) through the entire twin serpent mountains, ive had a walk through there when my guildie ( the monk ) was afk for a minut and I didnt get hit once
