Default Thunderhead Keep for Dummies: 1 Shouter*, 1 Bonder, 1 MM

Okay, first off I apologize if I'm replicating someone else's guide. I didn't see anything exactly like this, but I'm also not gonna go digging forever. Also, the core build's not mine, someone else taught it to me, but I tested it and it worked very nicely.


Want to beat THK but can't do it coz PUGs are hard, don't listen, mission is challenging, or strategies are confusing? Here's a guide to make it a little easier.

Core Build:

Skills in ( ) are not mandatory, but still good.

1 W/* - Shouter/Stancer. Skills - Watch Yourself, Shields Up, Symbiosis, Res Sig plus whatever you like for dmg. Should have decent Tactics, and I found it useful to take along a couple of Stances, coz you will be drawing a lot of fire. YMMV on the stances though.

1 Mo/* - Bonder. Skills - Life Bond, Life Barrier, Life Attunement, (Vital Blessing), Ess Bond, Bless Sig plus spot heal/condition removal/en mgement.

1 N/* - Corpsinator. Animate Bone Fiend, Animate Bone Horror, (Animate Bone Minions), (Consume Corpse), (Putrid Explosion), (Blood Ritual), plus pet heals and a Rez if you can fit it.

1 */R - Symbiont. One of the above chars can take along a Ranger secondary (or a Ranger can be added for this 1 skill), with essential skill, Symbiosis. Symbiosis should be cast by someone who can get Beast Mastery to 10 or so for a good boost.

No healer necessary to specify. You WILL need one, but Mhenlo is fine.

Strategy:

1) Fight to Dagnar, skip cutscene.

2) Camp King in the tower. Drop Symbiosis on Jalis, then Warrior goes and gets Torch, and stands at the top of the stairs. Warrior's only job at this point is to keep stancing, holding torch, and keeping Symbio up.

Tactics:

1) Corpsinator must use every corpse. Don't leave anything unblackened.
2) Everyone stays behind stancer for first part, since monsters will run up stairs and attack Torch holder. Everyone else kills stuff.

Can't do stances very well with the jades wild blows. but yea the torch trick.

Corrected that - I wrote Stancer when I meant Shouter.

Also, when testing this with my monk after doing it with warrior, I lost connection to GW. Hopefully the grp got thru ok because there was a second bonder in there.

Thunderhead Keep is easily beaten with a standard Barrage/Pet group.

5 rangers, 1 MM, 1 Orders and a Monk.

Just beat it today first try and our Monk was AFK the entire run.
(Turns out he was a smiting monk too! lol)

Going to have to try this..esp since almost everyone in our guild has a ranger.. should be fun!

i think it helps alot of those Alt F4 n00bs outa here at thunderhead, Its a usefull guide, but not so clearly explained, but still comes handy for someone i think
