It's rumored that gold armors now always ID as superior runes, and purples ID either as major or superior runes.

Doesn't look like it. The latest patch brought back the normal behaviour. Gold pauldron IDed to major tactics. 2 purples IDed to minors.

Judging from the rune trader prices, the drops are back to normal. Sup vigor and Sup Abs. are almost back to what they were. And monk runes are rising as well.

a bit off topic, i co-founded the 'attin' movement in euro servers beetletun today.
a guy wanted to farm some 'attins', so me, a friend and 2 complete strangers ran round spamming ATTINS NOOOOOO! for 20 minutes

Personally tried the ettins a few times before and got junk. Not golds, nothing. Doing the factions quests today... 3 gold armours, didn't bother completing the quest.

did 2 runs of that luxon quests solo with my 55 ele... best thing i got was a major earth magic >.<
the tengus like to drop runes too.. but only seen them drop minors.

i agree with the opening statement, i got 2 sup vigors in the first 10 minutes using the ettin quest from LA

it went kinda downhill from there...

still netted in 100k within 30 minutes (including the vigors)

I did three runs last night and the best I got was a minor strength rune. No, I haven't over-farmed there. I've only been a handful of times. Not a happy camper....

This is probably a Stupid Question but I still need to ask it.

Senator Tom.. In your Screenshot how did you get all the Items to drop in front of you like that??

My guess is that you identified them and dropped them from your Inventory in that spot for the Screenshot. If thats the case how do you drop Inventory Items?? Yea, its a stupid question but I am still a NooB at GW..

Drag the item you want to drop out of your inventory on to the ground.

I went in and saw some guy want to farm 'attins' then i went and helped guildie with a quest when i came back i saw 5 people saying stuff about attins

I did a total of 5 solo runs with my warrior... all I got was one superior air rune... worth 60g at the rune trader lol...

first time i tried ettin farming i got a sup. vigor
haven't even SEEN a supirior rune from them again...
that was 2 months ago. [however i don't do it every day]
