does anyone know how many kills you have to get in order to get past this mission???

it is a challenge mission - you just kill as much as you can as fast as you can.
check the records npc to see who scored highest in there.

ummm.... my group killed 107 and then time ran out.... it told us mission failed... the record at thetime was 223..

if what ur saying is true about it being just a challenge mission.. where do u go from there and why did it telll us mission failed

Warning - SPOILER - Warning

you get to the dragon's throat outpost after helping mhenlo and togo in the first mission... from there you go outside into the explorables (shadow refuge i think) to meet up with mhenlo again - there is a quest about seeking out the oracle and getting "closer to the stars" (forgot the canthan name for it) - he will send you further around the favelas around the marketplace... O_o

about the failed mission.
107 should have been enough to be in the daily records - if not that may have been the reason why it said failed; i just henched a 51 with my monk and also failed once the timer was up...

i did ti early and easily exceeded the current TOP daily record and it still told us failed.. I think ti jsut says that. It gave us liek 2 plat and 5k xp though *shrug*

It's a challenge mission. There are records of whoever got most kills on that map. Completing it takes you nowhere, you just get small amount of money/exp and place in the records if you score high enough.

That particular challenge mission has primary quest which leads you out into Shadows Passage as mentioned by Uzul. Just take the quest and it will lead you on with the storyline.

My guilds group is at 3rd for the week/month and 2nd for the day right now. I'm doing it with them now that Im there hopefully we can get more!
