Default Low lvl Tyrian character in Chanta?

Is it possible to bring a low lvl Tyrian character to Chanta? I mean you just have to take a boat from LA . I would like to level mine there.I dont like how the male necros look like. They dont have a mohawk.

Character has to be ascended. ANet says so right on the game updates page.

Agreed, for whatever reason (i'm thinking a marketing ploy) characters don't have to be ascended.

the thing is sure its not too hard to bring a tryian into cantha and get to low level monastery for leveling. BUT you don't have many questing options as the trainers will not talk to you... SOO... IDK

I think I'm gonna make a Nec/As in one of my slots just for Cantha, and once he is say lev 15 or so take it back to Tryia to bulk up... from LA... then return at full power for rest of Cantha... This is prob going to be the more popular choice of going now that Factions is here... Instead of just doing the traditional Pre-searing. I mean after all you can't get back to presearing right? But you can return to the monastery.. so that's a good choice...
