Default [Help] Raisu Palace Mission

Can some one help me on how to beat this mission? I'm a monk so it hard for me to do dmg. Any strategy on beating this? Its hard because there's like no one there to make a decent team. Let me know if certain spell/skil or strategy that will help in this mission. thanks

I had a bit of trouble with this mission as well (also a Monk). I tried a couple of times with people and failed, then went with hench and won with the red on the bar all but gone. The only trouble I had was with the Mesmers at the end but other than that, it was fairly simple.
I played a hybrid heal-boon prot build and took the Tengu and Healer hench to aid me, the mission even bugged and when the healer hench went to do her thing, she returned and followed me, only this time she kept healing the enemies...
Try to avoid confrontation when possible, attack one mob at a time and try to single out the Ele dragon boss, he's deadly, other than that, it's just a matter of directing your henchmen to the right targets (Rts first, then Mos et).

Very important to pull one group at a time. Well, try at least. It's hard but it is easier this way. You should take out those ele dragons first, then monks, then the rest. I took Cynn and Danika with me. Danika skips the most difficult part of the mission in my opinion. So you should take her along.

This mission is a real blast. Me and a guildie went with henchies and just stormed through (we wanted the master completion bonus). Cynn can definately toast large groups of enemies. I played a ritualist and would suggest that you take one with you who can keep shelter up most of the time (soul twisting really helps with this) as this makes the mission much easier.

Also, make sure that a couple of players on your team speak to the dragon at the start (and also the start of the next mission) in order to get a special skill. I received a skill that summoned the ghosts of the 2 original slayers of Shiro that dealt a fair amount of damage and provided a huge shield to soak up damage when activated. The specials are one time use but are recharged after you kill a boss so the best time to use them is on large groups with bosses in them. Good luck.

I henched my way through it, also as a monk. I took Talon and Cynn--the former, because I honestly don't know how to get through the second room without him.

I only had some trouble with the Elementalist boss--Star Burst HURTS thanks to the boss' innate doubling of damage--but with proper aggro control, the mission isn't too tough.

I just got past the Ele dragon boss with henchies, unfortunately we all died with the exception of mhenlo and togo, there were no mobs around as we just cleared it, didn't notice a timer either..

I am aware it says to get to Shiro before he kills the emporer, but as I say..
didn't see a timer.

If you manage get some warriors to join then the mission will be quite a blast. Their special ability makes Massive amount of dmg and bosses & large groups of nasty enemies die really fast.

Yes, the real key is this: Warriors get a special skill from the dragon that knocks groups down quickly. Only one warrior needs to use it at a time, and it recharges when a boss goes down. So if 3-4 warriors use it wisely, you can slam thru easily.
Conversely, doing it with 6-7 henches is quasi impossible.
Not sure yet what sills other classes get...

umm i did it with henchies ?

me = A/R

i took:
Healer
Protector
Ritualist
Interrupter
Domination
Vile
Earth

i chose:
Talon
Danika

i had basically zero time on the bar when i got to the end, just made it hehe

i was spamming an interrupt on my target every 5seconds.

and i killed Eles -> Ass -> Wars -> Monks -> Rits -> Rgrs -> Necs -> Mes.

and i got 2 forbidden chests, and capped an elite, was a fairly good run

the most basic tip i can give is - dont pull/aggro via ramps and stairs, aggro from alongside a ramp so the henchies arent all balled up.
