You all did get the free skills from the quests in Cantha already too, right? That offsets future costs a bit as well.

I don't need skill points, which that 4000 xp is going for. I need money to buy the skills to use my skill points. I'm sitting on 83 skill points for my ranger. Thats 83k in skills that I have to buy to use those skill points. that 150 gold per quest is really not enough to serve the purpose it is there for.

The gold found and given from quest rewards is more than enough to sustain the skill points you'll earn from XP and quests.

It's not enough to support that skill habit, plus a set of end-game weapons and armor from the crafters in kainang center. If you've been riding the skill points all the way to level 20, you'll be 5-10k short on endgame weapons from the crafters. However you should be running a surplus on gold to skillpoints, so that will be made up.

The real hit to the bankroll is poor prophecies characters brought to Cantha with a large surplus of skill points. Since skill points come much more quickly in Cantha, players may have trouble spending their existing skill points fast enough - as all the gold they earn comes with skill points as well.

Peace,
-CxE

LOL...aint that the truth..)I am up to 90 on one chr and I bet there are more players that can top that.IMABHO the drops from chest while doing quest is far better in factions. So if you want to get the skills you definately make enough money. At least to my expierence. Also you only spend a short time till you hit the mainland when drops come from higher level. In GW:P you go thru a larger portion of the game before hitting the max item drop area.

BTW I'm not asking for large sums of gold per quest, but i'd appreciate a little more. Say 350 per quest.
Well, In prophecy's you don't get any money. This is just a way so that you can play the campaign and not have to farm as much. In prophecies you made very little money as you advance through the campaign. In factions with creature drops, quest rewards, mission rewards, and boss greens you can make quite a bit as you progress through the campaign. Beleave me it builds up.
