Canthan core characters
If I were to, say, delete my Tyrian mesmer and create a Canthan mesmer, and then brought the Canthan mesmer to Tyria, can I then obtain all of the skills (normal and elite) that are in Tyria but not found in Cantha? I ask this because I have heard and read that there is a lot of content in Tyria that Canthan characters do not have acess to, but not a lot on what that content specifically is. Thanks in advance for the help.

As long as your Factions and Prophecies are linked, you will have access to all the skills both games offer. Only content that Canthan characters miss out on are the quests and missions before Lion's Arch. This has to do with storyline continuity more than anything. So if you created a new mesmer in hopes of getting a new look, you will have access to all the skills Tyria has to offer.
