When i first played through arborstone with my assassin i got past the co op with relative ease on my first attempt using henchies.
Just tried it again today with my ranger with henchies, and pug groups and keep getting wiped out.
First problem is that when we get near the end where all the wardens are at the bottom of the steps one or 2 henchies end up dieing and the healer hench cant res them as she keeps getting interupted by the cathedral falling down, even dropping the urn which puts a shield up is not helping as it never stays up long enough for her to res.
Then when we manage to clear the wardens and get to the steps to go up to fight the bossess at the end 3 oni appear, manage to kill them then when we get to the top of the step 4 more oni appear and kill everyone!!
Have tried 5 or 6 times now and get the same results every time.

I met the same problem as yours before. The hench can't res members inside the cathedral because of being interupt, so I brought a hard res too, and I can res others. The Oni appear near the end are quite hard, but if you know that and prepare to fight them, you can still kill them.
I dont think they make mission harder because I met that before.
