Add in the fact that mobs are ridiculously powerful, and this is the most challenging thing that ANet has produced by far.

I actually want ANet to allow everyone to have access to the Elite missons, that way everyone can try it, die horribly about a minute in, and proceed to go bitching on the boards and get told to stfu.

Really, if you want to get into the elite missons, XoO and TLA usually offer a spot in their groups (although Guildies/Alliance members get priority) for FREE. Of course, you have to be a non-idiot, and listen to them. So all of the "I'll play the way I want to, when I want to" people need not apply.
How do you keep up your energy with -10 Energy degen, and worse effects? Do you mean 100 AoE dmg every 5seconds or what?

Why block out the names who pick up the items and not block the names in the party screen?

I don't care about blacking out the builds they used, I can make my own, I do care about blacking out the level of the boss.. So I'll just ask, what level is he?

Everyone is lazy, ppl can take cavalon with hard work just like we did.
I would have gone on the run but it was a school night, maybe this weekend.

The last laugh may be on you in some situations. I'm no slouch when it comes to PvE 1st run success with a PUG.

i get why anet thought it would be wise for the towns etc to be "owned" by certain alliances but not allowing everyone access to the mission just sucks - oki its elite so make it like the glads arena - you have to prove yourself before you go in thru various arenas/missions i.e. get masters all throughtout cantha, that ensures that only the "elite" (not my ideal choice of phrase) can access these missions to truely test their skills because tbh most of the missions in factions are a cake walk if you kno how to build a team and work together well.

grats on doing the mission an all - would love to try it myself but since its pointless to try and compete with ppl who have 3.x million faction within 2 weeks i honestly dont see the point in wasting my time.

Blanking out the mobs lvl - its not the lvl of the boss which makes it a arsewipe but the skills that it uses and how it uses them :-)

blanking out the builds - meh couldnt care less as i'm not likely to get a shot at the mission so it doesnt matter how you managed to cope with those "environmental" conditions which most of us will never face.

oh and i would love to just add one more thing:

what a load of horse.... out of all the guilds out there in guild wars how many will be able to compete with a conglomerate who has already been able to wrack up that many faction in little or no time at all? maybe 2 or 3? its got nothing to do with being lazy, its just sheer numbers.

Hrm, I must have misread that statement, thought you meant -4 life degen, which it wasn't.

But yeah there were still worse things (at least in my opinion).

I take my hat off to you "Elite Farmers" for your succes.

But I really think that the Alliance holding House zu Heltzer are the real elite, since half the farming quest on there side is Bugged to a point where you only can finish 1 out of 3 run's, Luxon one's are like pre-seering ascalon quests.

I'm going to clear this up since these elitist punks are keeping secret about it. Theres these tree things down there that when your in their radius, you expirience things like -10 health regen, or -4 energy degen.

As to why I blocked it out, here the answer, I DONT LIKE copy cats, so this is why, as to why I left the names? Why block names if that’s the only way people can see who beat him! I want to go down in to history for being first, end of story....

Here is the info on boss....

Aura -10 hp/per char. in the full room. You cant move him out of the room, as he is set to walk 10 feet from his place and run back.

He hits so hard that he moves players backward all around the room in tell he kills them. so moving is a must if you want to not die in this battle.

He has a spell that will give 90% miss on spells and heal him over 30secs. The most powerful healing/anti-spell in the game.

He has a 2nd spell that when he get hit he spawns 40 mobs on top of all this. They cast chaos storm a lot, this kills healers. Energy Burn also on casters.

I let you all find out his 3rd spell you will drop dead, if you see him cast it your dead.

After 800 dm he stops taking dm needs to be slapped down to reset the dm counter and it random so it can be at 100 or 30,000hp. It a lot, not 3 or 5 and the book says 10. (BS) I lost track after 47 times or so and it was a lot more then that.

This Mission the Deep is based on Boss hp and power. So knowing what to do and having spells that can get you all the way to the boss and kill him is like playing the for a million dollars, ANET has said they never beat the mission them self’s. As I think he bugged and we got lucky is what happened here.

Urgoz`s is based on MOB dm/hp so the Bosses are not as good as the deep, I don’t know why they did this but it looks to be like this sense we have been to Urgoz`s last night and it was not to bad.

P.S Don’t read the book that you buy at the store everything in the deep has changed, so likely you die if you read the book, as the book is wrong.

Thank you for posting that information.

I have only one question, can you please tell me (And everyone) the level of the final boss?

Love to know how powerful it is.

Also can everyone else not flame, if he doesn't want people to see his skill bar it has nothing to do with being elitist or anything. He wants to keep it private and really it his to keep private.

So much hate on these forums... I know we're all upset for not having access to elite missions, but why not speak to the guilds in Cavalon, and maybe they'll take you along!

No one from any alliance that has controlled HzH or Cavalon has ever said they are more elite than anyone, so you guys should stop coming up with these stupid quotes acting like they go around bragging about how elite they are all the time.

I don't see the point of blacking out the boss or w/e.

He is a normal player like you and me, who happened to complete one of the hardest sections of the whole game.

Jealously is never a good thing, so please try to be more polite.

Leeroy Jinkins comes to mind. But yes I have been down and see people playing Raid Dungeons. But they are based on level caps of 60 for example.

But we could use more elite missions that are open to all.

I can't see the reason why there's only two high-level areas in "stand-alone" game and even they are highly limited and exlusive only to the two alliance at time. >.< if developers have said that they think PvE portion of game is equally important as PvP, then why there is restrictions to all challenging stuff & furthermore why only Two areas.

Where are dungeons, mysterious keeps, islands etc. that are very challenging BUT available for everyone....

GW has far far far less high-end PvE content than any other hit mmorpg out in the market.

I don't think these comments are unfair to say. Many of us were waiting exciting & hard challenges in Factions. Factions is a good expansion but content underestimates the player-base Imo.

That's funny too! I'm not jealous at all! As I have mentioned in my other posts I don't even care about the "elite" missions anymore! And my point was I don't think many people are going to care who beat it first, they aren't going to go oh yeah "so and so" beat it first. Frankly I consider the people that came up with the "true" solo builds for some areas as more elite! Personal opinions rock!

Ah, so you're just protecting us from ourselves

Just because the BlackBlades alliance took 3 weeks to learn how to do it doesn't mean the rest of the GW community are so slow. Open up the mission for us so we can see for ourselves

But I suspect you want to farm it for a couple of months first, ehhhhh, I meant prevent the weapons from reaching E bay. And after all, you deserved it, your alliance is the best at running supplies over and over and over. l33t!
