Heh. That's brings to mind a good challenge. Can anyone here post a pic of your toon standing on the altar in Halls saying "I'm king of the world"? This would of course involve you being drunk in Halls, standing on the altar without dying (after winning or during, doesn't matter), and waiting for that comment to issue forth from your drunken self. A worthy challenge I think...

A worthy challenge indeed *turns warrior into iway* This is because I must be drunk IRL when my character is drunk, otherwise its just cheating. And I honestly dont think I could play any other build while drunk. Oh and Ill be using a pug and starting after my final....dont hold your breath.

I'm not sure but i doubt the rest of your team would find it quite so amusing

You could play a trapper, at least that way you'd have an excuse to be standing on the altar not moving much.

Possibly, but as you may not know, most drunks are poor, and don't keep promises. If you show up for your reward, and I happen not to be there, don't act surprised.

Anyways, your screenshot proving you did this amazing feat will earn you the respect of all the lushes of the land. Hell, you might even get some tail from all your fame and glory. You would be 'King of the World' remember. And don't worry. When you tell your grandchildren many years from now of your greatest accomplishment, and they walk away laughing in disbelief, just remember the 2 people on observer mode that both cried in joy during your victory laps, and that hot girl (or guy) draped on your shoulder you as you walked into the sunset.

LOL!! Sorry... Been watchin too many 80's movies lately...

Done.

Yeah you were right about the 10k hours for the next title btw.

EDIT - I'm willing to be a sponsor of the challenge: I offer to open a bar in the european districts of HA, selling all your favorite booze without any comission

EDIT 2 - 10k mins not 10k hours lol

I can just see the way the game would go, Drunkard group forming for HoH. Multiples in the actual halls. Now that would be great.

10k mins* my bad lol

I have a problem. I'm addicted to dwarven ale. Yesterday I played "normally" for the 1st time since I got factions. And there was something missing. My screen was no longer psychedelic. My char didn't say "I love you" to the bosses he slayed, he was not sitting during a battle with uber strong mobs. He was not about to vomit on Shiro. Everything was normal, and I can no longer play like this. Help! I'm addicted! The Incorrigible Ale Hound title seemed too much trouble to get. But no I dont have any choice. I'll get it. For I'm addicted.

Anyone has 2M to spare to help a poor drunkard?

Someone should start farming Hunter's Ale from pre and selling them for half the price of Dwarven Ale. Could make some cash bringing a lot of those over to post I would think.

Not worth it. It takes approximately 6 minutes to run there and get the maximum of 2 Hunter's Ale. As there are only 2 bears nearby. Saving you 400g.

The 75g per minute is not a good investment of time for anyone that can farm. Unless you do it for yourself or a friend, there is not much money to be made farming Hunter's Ale in Pre-Sear.

I currently do 1 run when I log on and a few before I log off - to unwind. Have around 12 Hunter's Ale now. Need 1002 and 16.6 hours if you want Drunkard Title in one sitting.

I am sure I am the only one here who understands you becasue I was stuck too and I seek for help in this form but no one could help me perhaps they don't want to tell me. After wasting 50k for not even a single minute, I found out the problem.

If you drink like 10 in a row, you are getting drunk message but you are not going to have 1 minute drunk per minute, or you can have 1 min drunk from an unstable rate like 1:30 real min/min or 2:30 real min/min. Someone told me that game 1 min = reality 2 min so I felt nothing wrong when I had that rate when I was new to this title so in my first 400 minutes I spent more than 800 ale. But now I found this is absolutely wrong.

The reason you are stuck is becasue you drink too many ale at the same time, you cannot be "very drunk", you can only drink in between "drunk" and "undrunk". Like you have 3 ale based and you added one per minutes or 3 ale every three minuites, but if you add 4 ale every 4 minutes or you add two per minute the rate will be messed up it it turns out you get 1 min or 2 min drunk for every 5 ale. If you want to find out what the "base ale" you need or if you are adding too many ale, look at your watch and countdown one min to see if you could get 1 min drunk per minute, if you can't, do not add any ale until u see your drunk minute raises up 1 and you find your "base ale" to which you add ale.

Can you drink for 3 hours. Then log off and pick up where you left off or is this the sort of thing you have to sit up all night to do?

Like all titles, it tracks your progress. However, make sure you are not drunk when you log off so that you get full credit for your last drink!

3 wins in a row, then err7. ¬_¬

Got about 30 more ranging from "I'm gonna be sick!" to "Why is everyone shouting?" with 2 guilds fighting in the background.

Someone actually shouted "lol! look what their ghost just said!" XD

I wish your whole screen would blur and mess up, including letters, party window, skills etc. I mean if you're going to be drunk at least let it show by your actions
Imagine seeing a monk trying to heal the enemy team :P
