As an addendum to this post:
We did this in two tries. The first time we half wiped and were too impatient to spend a halfhour precariously res'ing our teammates.
So..we restarted...
Just a little four hours later and Urgoz is dead.

The bow that you speak of, Urgoz's Longbow, is up for sale in the High End forums here.

Congrats guys, that's quite an achievement.

On a side note, I get a bit annoyed to see "hidden" skillbars and party professions. You won't lose anything by showing it, take for example very common builds such as tombs barrage team: Everyone knows exactly the professions and skills/attributes, and yet very often pugs don't make it. A better way to go is to let the information about findings/builds/discoveries available, it's by sharing that we get better, not by keeping our precious little build secret from the others.

By "neft stick" I assume you mean "nerf stick".

He's talking about PvE (so he doesn't really lose anything, in PvP I don't agree either but I understand that revealing your skillbar can give away many things you's prefer to keep hidden) so it's not like he'll lose GvG because people saw his build. And also he's talking about an Elite Mission. What are you suggesting, that if we see the guy's skillbar, everyone is gonna farm Elite missions and in the end they will modify the boss to drop Mountain Troll tusks? I don't think so.

Edit: T)-(E Voice Of Reason hasn't covered his skillbar, prepare for a huge nerf.
My point in short is : I didn't ask for their team build and a guide, just I find narrow minded to go into the trouble of hiding your bar (while you want everyone to know how cool you are and post screenies of you completing the mission). Even if they'd tell their entire team build, not many people would 1. Get a chance to try and 2. Have the same result.

sorry, but this sounds really bad indeed... "no regular group will do this ever".. d0000d, get real lol

I havent given a full party a go yet, will do so today evening i hope. what stunned me is that one guildie said he can solo the first 2 groups of dredge (he admitted its very hard and quite improbable, but hes done it). well, i did try his idea, but it seemed even worse than Racthohs aatxe soloing guide..

give this a month or two, and itll be quite easy to be beaten... ofc itll require preparation and discussion, but still..

I got a question, can everyone get to him? or u need some special amount of faction or u need a outpost or something? Becouse XoO is holding HzH and im not sure if everyone can get in there or only the people who are actually holding HzH.

The only people that have unrestricted access are those in the alliance holding HzH. However, people that aren't in that alliance can be invited to the elite mission. All you have to do is find someone in the alliance willing to bring you in.

Yes and that is why a regular group will never do it. A regular group can't get in there. I can't wait to try one of these. My guys aren't far enough though, soon I say, soon.

The 'regular' players would be screaming and dying before the first room was clear. Then we would have 1000 threads to make mission easier.

Good job guys

Well, how should we know... it's not like we can try the mission.

Just a quick 2 questions, I saw screenshots of the Luxon Elite mission and saw that all 3 greens were dropped by their boss, and now I've seen all 3 bows dropped by Urgoz, does that mean there is a 100% dropping chance when the boss is killed? If so, that would raise my chance of getting such a bow by like... 99%.

And, does the tree bow come in a droppable skin? As in, does that typ of bow drop somewhere else in Cantha (if so, I'm guessing Kurzick)?

No, the tree bow does not drop anywhere else in the game.
