Default Do the Side-Quests Get Any Better?

Just a question, do the quests get any better? I just finished the quest where you meet the oracle, and since I had that GOD FORSAKEN Challice of Coruption quest on and was lvl16(how long does it take for completion btw?) I decided to do a few side quests... get my level up

Ok pretty much each quest was very very lame. And not that it was a "FEDEX" quest... but that there wernt even any mobs to really fight. For instance, Teddy bear quest I ran to the box, came back... not a single fight... no creatrues anywhere that may get in my way and require... death Or there was one where I talk to one guy, talk to the next, teleport talk to 3rd, teleport back talk to 4th done! Er... ?

So yeah, for those who are far afar ahead/done, do the side quests get any better and perhaps a little bit more meanigful? Or are they all "I'm late for school", "I lost my bear".... come on give me a "There is a dragon who keeps stealing my shipments of ale, go slay his drunk ass" ^_^

Well, there's one where you have to go "rough up" some drunk dude who's been harrassing the visitors to a tavern.

Imo, the quests in Factions are much nicer than those in Prophecies. For example there's the one with the whoole Jade Brotherhood plot to assassinate the Emperor. Another one is on Shing Jae Island, north of Zen Daijun, you see a guy talking to a bunch of little kids, telling them a story about a monster that eats bad children at night. If you wait till he's done telling his story, lo and behold, a green exclamation mark appears over his head, he tells you that the monster actually does exist, and asks you to go kill it.

more interesting stories

Normally you'd have to fight your way through there, but the mobs were friendly to you because you had the Chalice of corruption quests active.

They do get a little better once you leave the city, yes. The city is a low point in the game as far as quests are concerned. The missions improve a little, too, once you're out of dodge. The ones in the city mainly consist of throwing mob after mob after mob at you. Yawn.

Actually, on this quest, I got a lucky mob spawn, and the Afflicted took him out for me. I didn't lift a finger.

Reading the texts makes the quests WAY more enjoyable... If you want a bunch of mobs to kill and get something for that, head to the challenge missions.

I liked the bear but yah, most of the city quests are boring. I like all of the kurzick quests however. the non-repeatable ones.
