Default Ring of Fire

Hello all,

This may be an incredibly stuipid question, but I can not seem to get the search to work. How do I get to the Ring of Fire areas of the game? I have not played in 8 months or so and just came back. Did I miss something somewhere? I have an ascended, 20 monk and thought I had completed most of the game.

I would appreciate any help I can get on this, it is my birthday and I would love spending the day playing in the Ring of Fire since I have never been there!

Follow the storyline, and you'll get there. It is on your way to the endgame
There really is no other way.

Thanks! I just finished the part where you kill the white mantle guys for thier 5 pieces of armor. When I turned them in, I received the Monk COP spell and experience, but the main quest is now empty. Is there another place I pick it up from that point on?

Thanks again for the help.

You are still many hours away from the RoF. You missed one quest, that should have brought you to the next mission/town.
Ring of Fire is way after you've ascended and even far after you've been infused.
If you are there now, I can help you to the next mission. Just say which character you are.

After getting to Droknars Forge find these missions:

-Ice caves of Sorrow
-Iron mines of Moladune
-Thunderhead keep.

The last mission will bring you to the Islands of the Ring of Fire.

Hope this helps.

Have you played Thunderhead Keep even?

Even GW player must at least experience the joys of THK once!

Thanks for all the information. I am remembering why I loved this game so much, the people.

I am very happy to learn that there is so much more to do! The more the better. And I have just installed Factions as well, so I can bring my monk over when I am done, as well as start a new character there.

My Monk's name is Phen Starshard. I will be online in 2 minutes looking for the next part of the main quest. If you are online, grab me and point me in the right direction. This is so exciting!

Don't know what everyone is complaining about in that case, in every of the 3 times I played a char that far 1-3 tries with a random PUG was enough to complete it, abadons mouth on the other hand always gives me a lot more trouble.

I've been having trouble with RoF, played it aroudn 7 times now, first 5 times group died, 6th time my game crashed, 7th time we got far but then people started leaving and we didn't have a tank to take out the boss and seals...

It's also hard to get in groups because so few people now that people are switching to Factions.

Ya after the THK mssion you go to Ember Light Camp. "Shadow" is there....just talk to her and do the quest, and that will lead you to the Ring of Fire.

That place is always empty even before Factions. Maybe that's a little exaggerated but most everyone is either doing just the bonus or capping. I did the last 3 missions with the powerful hechies. lol.

Yup. Towns that used to be teeming with players are virtual ghost towns these days...
