I put off buying factions up until a week ago because of the CE debogal. I needed the skills for pvp so it really forces me to buy it.

I created a necro and going through the game. I'm at the point where you choose a side. Curently my guild is Kurzick. I hate their armor and want to go with luxon.

How do you change sides?

Where and how do you redeem faction?

What moves the border line?

I've completed both 15 attribute point quest and lvl 20 yet have 185 points. Completed meaning not in my quest log and I did not abandon. How do I fix this?

You choosing a side shouldnt affect your guild unless your guild has a faction requirement per week.

The side you are on is indicated by how much faction points you have. If you redeem one type of faction, you lose points to the other side.

If you want to get luxon armor, do the "To Cavalon" from Jamei in Maatu Keep after doing Sunjiang Dis.

In each capital town, Cavalon and HzH theres an NPC (I think they are called scavengers) that converts faction into Jade/Amber. You can also donate your faction to your guild through the other NPC (the scribes).

The borderline supposedly moves thanks to victories at Alliance battles and the PvP missions (aspenwood and the other place...)

I hope not because I will NOT be going through Factions again after all the bs fedex quest. Took me longer to go through factions than it did prophocies.

In any case I did report it to Anet. Hope they can fix this without me remaking my character.

When talking to the NPC's you need to make sure you have more of one faction than the other. Once you have that you can then get your armor for your character on the other side.

I have created a new guild so I can choose my alliance. It says to talke to an ambassidor of Luxon or Kurzicks.

Where can I find them?

I recall those folks are in Cavalon and House zu Heltzer respectively.
