Default Deep thoughts *Not a rant*

Well I am in the alliance with KEYS, as long as we do our donating and taxi'ing we can go to the deep. But i wanna know your thoughts, maybe if you've gone once, or more than once like me. Is it worth the time you think? Are the chests usually good, is it too hard? Just wondering , i'd like to hear what other people think.

Especially if you go with people you know it's a ton of fun And because you know them, it's not too hard either. You've just got to be lucky on the chests but most of the times I get at least 1 decent item Oh and thanks a lot for taxiing people Keep up the good work

They need to increase the difficulty in the deep. I can solo the first 2 rooms with a wammo.

Chests are nice, most are usually rare. Too many straw effigies, staffs though.

They need to have kanaxai drop rares along with the greens for other party members IMO. Only 3 drops off last boss is kind of lame for a 12 person party and all the time invested.

Not worthy of an "elite mission" title. But thats just my opinion as I'm sure many others will disagree.

Thanks, yeah i got a pretty good bow from chests, and chests seem to be my main draw. I agree with the points on the 3 lonely drops for specified people from kanaxai. It is quite fun, i made friends doing it today, we were mad together, sad together, and glad together, even though we never knew each other. Vent is fun (or ts) as it helps and helps me like these people more,

I agree for the most part everyone on the team that makes it to the end and kills the boss deserves a reward. It's hard work and an easy 3 hours invested non-stop. On my 2nd (and last) run one of our team member suggested that if not greens for all then the 3 greens + 1 random max gold drop per remaining player would be a good idea, I must agree with their thoughts.

The drop rates appear to have been improved, but as a scientist I must admit I am using non statistically significant data. Last night, one run we completed but the drops were much better than they had been previously. 3 golds dropped in the first room, and a few more plus a black dye in room 2.
As for whether or not its 'worth it'? It depends, like anything if you do it just for cash then its random luck. But I find that the more I go, the more regulars I get to know and the more fun I have in groups. Sure it can take almost 3 hours, but usually not, more like 1:30-1:45.

Seems like after this current patch chest has only been deep in the Scorpion Aspect room so they nurfed the chests now nothing but fighting. If this is the case they better have improved the drop rate or I'll stick to my green farming.

J have been to the Deeps outpost 3 times now, and every time i spend there 2 houres and in 2 houres i dont get to go on the mission. I must say i'm realy pissed off, i know that my class (assassin) isn't the most desireable in a party but this is rediculous. And what is worse it seems that the problem is not in the assassin, but in the people. Its another thing not to accept me in to the party but nobody has gone to the mission for the two houres i have bee there, nobody. Everyone is just standing there and argueing do they need 1,2 or 3 monks and they never actualy start the mission because people get bored and start leaving the party . Sorry for the long post but as you can see I'm realy pissed off.

Urgoz is not Deep. Deep is not Urgoz. Deep needs to be harder, Urgoz is not. What so hard to understand here?
Also Urgoz mission isnt that hard either, it's just bloody hard to find a group for it.

I'm a big fan of the Deep, personally. I do a run or two every couple days, and I almost always have fun--even just putting together PUGs, getting them all on Vent, and getting everyone in there killing things is fun in and of itself. I've met more people ingame thanks to the Deep than I have in the last year of playing.

Sorry you have this problem, but most teams are running pretty close to the same build (4 warriors, 4 monks, 4 necro/ele/ranger).
The same thing happened when Barrage/pet teams took over Tombs in Prophecies.

My advice: Join them. Have fun with your assassin in other PvE areas, but you get 4-6 character slots for a reason. Make a warrior or a monk and play that in the Deep.

Or, start your own group! You may find others who are bored standing around and will try some alternate group. But if you do this, you will be expected to assign teams and lead the party, so unless you've been down there enough to do this, I'd still suggest playing along with the masses until you learn your way down there.

Yeah I have yet to see an assasin do well in the deep though. The beginning part you need a good tank who can take tons of damage. Yeah I know assasin's have their own things they could mix with warriors but the defense would still not be near as high. I feel bad for assasins.

im a big Deep fan, although i havent been lately. It is loads of fun. There is plenty to kill. And it is true that you meet really cool folks, with a few jerks here and there. The mission is pretty easy when everybody works together.

Assassins get a bad rap i find. The expectations of the people that play assassins was that they were as strong as tanks and they play like they would a tank. Unfortunatly, they are not tanks and the entire deal with assassins is get in, combo and get out. The damage output potential of assassins is very high and it's a shame that many of the people that have made assassins just dont know how to work them. The combo builds can quickly dispatch a caster, but more often then not as a monk, assassins in pvp are often just people standing between me and my kiting path.

They either need to make assassin combo skills uninterruptable or make the time they impliment shorter. One interrupt (or diversion) pretty much cripples an assassins combo moves and damage output.

Back on topic.....

I haven't done the deep mission yet. I'm not sure if I am really interested in doing it. I'm content with my nearly daily Urgoz go, but I have heard that the Deep is really easy.

Yes, the end drop blows, but I suppose if you do it enough, one will drop for you too. (Too bad it's just going to be after the item is nearly worthless in terms of trade value)

I bet you anything that will happen to me, and also i've found I can make more money in the time it takes, but what i do doesnt give as much fun.

What I find most interesting about the deep is that the order of the rooms is different depending on whether you're in american or international district.
