When you get to the lava pit, drag the henchmen thru and out of the lava as quickly as possible. Fight the Ettins without aggroing the Mursaat boss (yes, it's possible). Rest/regen for a bit, then fight the boss without aggroing the Jades (yes, it's possible).

Even though he's pretty weak otherwise, bring Dunham, as he has Drain Enchantment, which comes in handy when fighting Coventina the Matron (Aura of Faith).

Don't rely on energy-based skills when fighting around the towers.

Alternate lava pit plan is: Sprint past the Ettins, boss and Jades, trigger cutscene.

I've soloed (without henchmen) the Ring of Fire mission with my W/Mo, but can't quite do either Abaddon's Mouth or Hell's Precipice yet.

The first 2 are, but hells pricipe isnt. If you do get to the litch he will massicre henchies, i have done this twice. They will get teleported into the lava and will limp around in circles, then healer henchies will then walk right into the lava and limp around in circles. Its not pretty

Its possible and easy to kill the Lich with henchies. If I haven't deleted my pics, I will show that its possible to hench the 3 missions of Ring of Fire.

Don't go the back way with henchies, it's WAY harder.
Just take your time and slowly pull Jade and mursaat away from the front door, then drop the seals. After the door opens, let the henchie monks regen some energy, then pull the Jade and Mursaat from there too, though watch out, there could be a couple patrols thats will move down towards the seals. After thats done yor going to want to kill the left most seal first then the right.
Rest of the mission is easy. Good luck.

thanks again all

I finished Ring of fire with hench and managed to get a group with real people for abaddons mouth mission.
Capped Eviscerate on my warrior yesterday after much fun dancing with henchmen in firey pits.

Grats. Once you get used to henchies, they'll be your best friends.

Factions is henchable. I went up to temple with henchies, then started using PUGs until I got to HzH, from there on I used henchies until raisu, then I henched Shiro.

Factions is very henchable. I completed the chapter 4 days after the preorder event opened. Doing missions with others was just not an option. The first PUG I used was for the final mission. Once I get all of my characters through, I will go back and try beating Shiro with henchman.

Long live the Henchmen!

Yup, very much henchable. Started my ritualist right after Factions came out and I wanted to take my own time to sightseeing and whatnot while going through missions, so the idea of joining PUGs that rush forward didn't appeal to me.
Ended up henching all the missions in Factions this way. Got no masters from it, but it did get me through the game.

I love playing with henchmen more on my monk, he's Mo/Me.

At first it was hard but I read here somewhere about using Shift+Control+Space and its been really easy ever since.
It has required some positioning at times as I need to get the mob at least a yard or so outside my aggro bubble, once I'm in the battle any aggro I get I can usually just call them to the target again or run around till I get the hench between me and the mob.

Even I havent tries the Kurzick side for now. Gyala Hatchery is very henchable without the trick in Wiki which I never noticed during that time. And no wonder why my friend and I call "Shiro The Weak" at the end after "Boring Palace" mission.

I'd like to introduce my friend, Erys Vasburg. I don't think you've met.
