Default Charming the Charr

Have you ever tried this?
I have
I have tried to charm many 'uncharmable things' in presearing. If you keep spamming it on hostile monsters they have a skill called 'break charm' or something like that... I was wondering if you had a fast interrupter or something to interrupt that skill and stop it from being cast then can you charm a monster? I admit this was a long time ago and I forgot about it until I read the prize winning hog thread :P.
And yes, the charm animal skill starts to occur if you spam it alot (I dunno the timing) then they have like a 1/4 second monster break charm skill. Next time I try I'll try to get an SS.
Just a random note I'd thought I'd share, probably already know this though :P

EDIT: please move... being stupid and posted in the wrong forum oops

Try diversion, another 50 or so seconds without breaking charm would help heaps.

i don't think diversion works on monster skills like Claim Resource, or crippling attack by grasping grhouls etc.

You can't charm the Charr and the only things that use that break charm skill are in pre.

Bears can be charmed in pre, despite the bears having break charm skill.
