How do you get the Masters reward for Raisu Palace? A great alliance group just tried it, but we messed up and got wiped towards the end. Even if we hadn't, though, I doubt we were fast enough. Is there some kind of trick to beating the mission fast enough, like prodigous use of Celestial Storm? Thanks in advance for the help.

The fact that you got an alliance group helps.

I just got masters for this mission 3 days ago after having gone in several times with PUGs, esp. a lot didn't accept me as a ranger into their group. I finally got into a group that had 6 members being in a guild and they advertised needing a ranger and MM. We beat it in 17 mins.

The trick is to have the leader of the group take Danika and Talon (or Cynn). Also have most people spam their celestial skill when you come about a boss. Also have someone effectively pull a group.

Also a few tricks, assuming you picked Talon and Danika:

1. While engaging the Warrior boss (first boss), run through the fight to trigger the Talon cutscene

2. After killing the Elementalist boss (fourth boss), run through the bridge to trigger the Danika cutscene

3. Ignore the Acid Trap corridor and just DPS the Ritualist boss (fifth boss).

The MM will lose all his minions when you do these methods, but you'll save a lot of time.

We tried that, but the NPCs stayed behind and we got massacred before many of us could reach the boss.

I did this about a week ago. Getting Master's in Raisu is not completely unlike getting Master's in the other missions. It's a matter of just shredding through the enemies and bosses as quickly as you can.

To echo prior suggestions, you'll need Talon and Danika as they are your best chance to get through; they cut down on the number of enemies in those areas significantly.

Basically, just power through the Warrior boss while killing the mobs along the way; only kill mobs in your way. Use Talon Necromancer boss; go through those groups, quickly cut down the next boss, and you'll come to a room with a bridge. Run across the bridges to trigger Danika's scene. Clean up the monsters around you and then just head straight for the Ritualist boss. Just rush right up to it with your group, kill it ASAP, head on through and take out the last 3 bosses. Never had a problem with the NPC getting killed in rushing to the Ritualist boss, interestingly enough. If you do, just have someone hang back with them to buy you enough time to drop a train on the Ritualist boss. Like I said, a group that generally knows what they are doing and does what they do quickly will have no problem doing this for Masters. It took me a few times to get it. Keep trying, you'll get it eventually.

Talon and danika are the fastest way. The trick is to have a good runner be leader of party. He/she should effectively run to the closest cutscene while everybody is engaging. That way, the whole party will be warped past the curretn fight. Dont try to run if theres alot though. U still need to kill some enemies but the cutscene method makes it faster.

you just need to kill all the bosses along the way, skipping the normal enemies could work, but it could be tricky and dangerous

With my war we did it in just over 15 minutes.
We had three wars, 2 rangers, a monk, a rit and a mm.
Basically the rangers celestial stance skill would help keep up the melee while the wars would chain their celestial skill (with three melee you can really pour on the damage). At the end where you fight three bosses it was especially effective because the war celestial skill was up at all times.

Out of Interest, I've never tried taking Panaku or Nika, always been Talon & Danika, what sections of the mission do Panaku and Nika cut out?

Good tip would be to not ragequit alliance groups, if we don't make it the first try, we'll sure as hell get it the 2nd time.

I henched it yesterday, got about 15 min, masters reward. Took cynn and danika. I was a warrior.. this mission kinda depends on the aggro's >.<
