Default Elite mission help plz!

Hey guys, im new to elite missions, did the deep once..never even made it past the first room.

I have a warrior, and a monk. Im new to it, so im guessing that the warrior would be the better candidate to take. Although i heal very well probably one of the top 5-10 percent in the game as a monk, and i learn quickly, but it still may not be the best.

I was wondering if you guys could post some builds and strategies for both monk and warriors, along with secondary classes, and possibly the elites and attribute points(<---if at all possible) thanks guys.

There is no barrage ranger groups in the deep and you should not be smite monk. If you want to take your monk to the deep, be pure healer (make sure you have heal party).

Urgoz Warren = JUst be a monk in a b/p or trapper group. Bring 5 Healing skills, Heal party, aegis, and resurect

The deep - groups vary, but being a monk is easy, as you normally will be spamming heal party and aegis

Personally, I love monking for B/P and trapper groups at Urgoz's Warren.

This is the build I use and although there's no apparent e-management, I'm well aware of this - I've just never had energy problems to a point where e-management had become necessary. That, coupled with a BiP necro, and providing you don't spam your spells like crazy means you'll rarely run across energy problems. And believe me - I've monked with this build for a whole team after having two other monks ragequit on us.

Also note: I'm aware my Healing Prayers are higher than Divine Favor, but whatever. The build works for me and I have no personal problems with it, so I'm not switching anything around.

Mo/Me

Attributes:

Healing Prayers: 12 + 1 (Minor rune)
Protection Prayers: 9
Divine Favor: 9 + 2 + 1 (Major rune, scalp)
Inspiration Magic: 3

Weapons:

This is up to you really, but I use a Totem Axe and a Wroth's Icon (so Aegis might recharge quicker - the Healing Prayers spells don't have long enough recharge times to warrant the bonuses). That, along with Ascetic's armor brings me up to 54 energy.

Skills:

Orison of Healing - heals for 63 (without DF bonus - same applies for all skills I'll list here)
Word of Healing - heals 71/89
Jamei's Gaze/Heal Other - nice fat 161 health, though when healing someone <50% health, don't bother wasting the extra 5E as WoH will heal for 1HP less
Healing Breeze - +8 regen, this is good to counter poison and such, and to counter the Burning from the Fire Flowers
Heal Party - heals for 71, must-have for health degen areas
Aegis - lasts 9 seconds, 10 @ 10 Prot. Prayers (might occur if you have the mod on your off-hand or weapon)
Inspired Hex/Remove Hex - very useful for getting rid of hexes such as Icy Veins from the Greater Blood Drinkers
Rebirth - you can switch this for another resurrection skill but this is the one I find most useful

Following up with a warrior build:
W/Mo

Attributes:
Hammer: 12+4 (Sup Rune plus Helmet)
Strength: 9+1 (Minor rune)
Tactics: 9+1 (Minor rune)
Protection Prayers: 3

Skills:
Counter Blow
Devestating Hammer
Crushing Blow
Dolyak Signet
Defensive Stance
Bonneti's Defence
Healing Signet
Rebirth

Weapons:
Icy Hammer: Any hammer will normaly do but icy is highly recommended so you can trigger the necromancer's Spinal Shivers.
Axe/Sword of Defence and Shield: Secondary Weapon set. Use this for body blocking Oni's when you are not attacking.
Longbow: If you are the designated lurer, use this for luring from range.

Armor type: Any will honestly do.

Warrior role: The role of a warrior in the deep is to do two things. Tank and Knockdown. Knockdown needs to be on Kannaxi(and aspects) to lower his health past certain points. "Body block" will be a phrase you see a lot during the deep. This means you need to form a line with the other warriors so that no monsters can get past you. You tank here, applying Dolyak Sig, Defensive Stance and Bonneti's Defence.

Some areas have either adreniline or energy draining aspects. You still have one defensive stance available to you. Please use it.

Every hit from Kannaxi(non-aspect) knocks his target down. You MUST use Dolyak Signet if you are tanking him.

For advanced users: Once you know the deep I recommend switching over to a W/A and bringing recall. You will find through experience that recall can be a very useful skill in the deep when used properly.

Here's my W/A Build for the Deep.

Attributes:
Sword - Meet the Req
Tactics (+1 for the helm)
Strength

Shove
Balanced Stance
Dolyak Signet
Deadly Riposte
Riposte
Healing Signet
Recall
Rez Signet

It's more towards the tank aspect, but it works well for me.

As for weapons, I use an Icy Crenellated Sword of Defense
Any sword will really help, but it needs to have an icy mod.

Mine is:
Icy Crenellated Sword of Defense
15-22 Req 9
+14^50%
+5 Armor

Oh, and please remember that as a warrior, body block the Onis and please don't attack them. Onis will use Viper's Defense which will first poison you, then randomly teleport them across the little body-blocking wall that you warriors have created. Protect the squishes!

You do not need both of these skills as they provide simular effect.
Balanced stance is a skill to stay standing while on the move. There are very few situations in the deep where you will be KDed and need to be running.

Amen to that...the W/A in our group last night really placed all of the Sapping Nightmares in the perfect place to get them away from Kanaxi(sp)...did an incredible job of aggroing them. It's also highly useful to get past the first gate without incurring 15% DP.

By the way - why are you both bringing Healing Signet? For the degen in the Kanaxi room? Or for the Apsect of Fear? I know you're not using this in mid-battle...
