hmm :/ so I tried to enter Vizunah Local with my Tyrian char... and it diddn't work. My chars already beaten the game.

So I assume that this is a bug that in order to enter Vizunah Local with a Tyrian char the ONLY thing that must have been done in between entering Vizunah Local and Not being able to enter Vizunah local is complete Nahpui Quarter... If you have done anythign else, you won't be allowed in x_X?

I just tried just after finishing Nahpui with Henchies, and it didn't work. I'm sure, it was a bug, but perhaps it was because of the composition of the team. Do you remember if your leader was Canthan or Tyrian?

Nitpick: your screenshot doesn't tell me whether or not you've already been there. Map icons don't show up on the insert map.

Regardless, I'm not disputing your post. You're an assassin, which means you're Canthan, and you obviously have access to Vizunah Foreign.

Feh, looks like we're going to have to get a Dev to clear this up.

Edit: Or I could read the Dev forum. You know, like a rational human being. Maybe I'll post a question there.

My Canthan/Factions character (ritualist) could eventually get to both. My Tyrian/Prophecies character could only ever get to foreign.

I am thinking that perhaps prophecies characters cannot access local (unless perhaps they are in party with Canthans and have completed Nahpui). Can anyone claim to have a prophcies character in local without Canthan assistance ?

I had finished NQ when I was in a Canthan-led party going to Local. This was their first trip to Local and as such they hadn't finished NQ. When they all teleported in I was left outside of Local with that jerk Pei and my buddy Senjo Wah.

My Tyrian monk has "finished the game" (Imperial Sanctum, but not the Luxon missions just yet) and was unable to enter Vizunah Square (Local Quarter) in a group without henchies (solo running).

Yes, the appearance is that Canthans can do both sides, but Tyrians cannot.

Necessary to have mixed group of Canthan and Tyrian players who have completed the mission perhaps? Has anyone actually tried having a Canthan leader who has completed the mission leading the group to the local quarter?
Raptox seems to have tried this several times but there's no results from him about a Canthan-led party where everyone would have completed the mission. Also Gli doesn't say if the party leader changed during the reform in NQ.

I think, that for tyrian characters to enter Nahpui Local, the party must fuffil the following requirements:

1.) No Henchmen (or so it seems... so far anyway.)
2.) Be led by a group of Canthan characters
3.) Everyone in the party must ahve passed the mission "Nahpui Quarter"

Sorry I disappeared there on you guys. Had some "domestic issues," you could say.

I never got around to trying what Reikai has suggested in the quote. Was going to, but didn't. Not enough of my guildies are past the mission (total of three, heh) but at least they're all playing Canthan characters.

Reikai's suggestion seems to be the best bet. Anyone wanna try it?

Just re-tried in a solo run, with my Tyrian character, but doors were closed. I'll try again with a Canthan character (in a 2-men group), but i'm not quite optimistic.
I heard though, that Gaile Grey said they planned to change that, and allow Tyrian and Canthan to access all the Missions from Prophecies and Factions, anyone know more about that?

Dont know if they have...but they should its silly...level 20 have helped others and guildies in the Prophecies missions all along why try to prevent this now.....it was advertised that all areas could be accessible by being in a party with someone that could access an area?

Maybe its a bug that we cant get in??

Foreign and Local count as the same mission, if you've done one, you've done the other.

Good. Makes sense. You're assassin is Canthan, and thus this further confirms that Canthans can get into Foreign.

Reikai, I got another guildie playing a Canthan char past NQ last night, so now I think we have 3 or 4. They're never on at the same time, though. I'll be on as IGN: "Amon Raptox" most likely. I'd like to put this to bed one way or the other before A.Net opens everything up to all chars just to say we did it, at least.

On an aside, amazing how goofy they made this no?
First time we tried to organize V Square mission in guild is when it came up - oh I'm in LOCAL you're in FOREIGN... and yeah then I tried to get my Tyrian to help them and no dice - they all zoned in and it kicked me *grr*

Anyways it would make sense to open this stuff, what happened to '100%'???
I'm annoyed I got my Canthan to LA then Ascalon, I had heard about no earlier (shield) missions but no skill quests either???? *bah*

Gaile Gray did say that they are making it where canthans can do all the pre lions arch missions and tyrians can do the shing jea missions but not sure about the vizunah square missions. It was said they were going to try to get it in the game as soon as possible.
