ToA is far from vital. It is in fact, unnecessary, just like Beetletun. It has no bearing on the storyline. I went through the whole game the first time without ever knowing it existed.

If you didn't happen to stumble upon it, the only way you would know it was there was because of the quest given in Fisherman's Haven.

I agree there should be a centralized island for access to the areas. I usually leave from ToA because some of our guildies don't have factions. It would be easier to just map to a new isle instead of having to map back to lion's arch then map again to ToA.

Fisherman's Haven, another town which is passed over during the storyline.

The only reason I knew of Fisherman's and ToA existance was from the World Map in the Prima Guide.

Hehe, yeah last night I went into FoW from Zin Ku. The party wasn't all that bad but they had no bonder and they'd brought an MM. It went ok for awhile until we hit the skeletons and the poor MM didn't have anything to do. Probably could've gone further but people started dropping, not realizing how long a Forgemaster run would take.

Give it time, the Canthan characters will figure it out.

Anyone else think it's high time the Ele's in there ditched Firestorm for Meteor Shower?

Unfortunately shower isn't available in Factions. Way too many canthan eles using firestorm all the way through the game, even in the last missions. I gave up yelling at them for bringing it.

What pissed me off was going through Temple with my Speed nuke Mesmer a while back. I know how to play an ele and how to use my skills to not break agro. When I would start to set up and cast meteor shower on a perfectly clumped group of enemies, suddenly firestorm would come down just when my cast finished. Meteor shower wasted. Look around, and no other ele in the group. Oh wait, there's a Mo/E that is using firestorm!

I asked him to please stop because it was screwing things up, but he just kept at it. We missed masters by a short amount of time that probably could have been gained back if he didn't keep causing agro scatter.
