I would like to know where I can capture the Dryder defense skill (ranger, wilderness survival) and the Disciplined stance skill (warrior, Tactic)

I don't see it in the skill trainer list, so is there a boss in Cantha with those skills?

Otherwise I m forced to make the trip to Tyria...

If you unlock them through Balthazar Faction from PvP, will they be avaiable in Cantha from trainers? Or would that be limited to Tyria, too?

No.

If you unlock them in PvP, then only characters created which are PvP only can use them. Trainers in Cathan will not have them available.

The only way you can get the skills on PvE characters is to get Chapter 1 and take your Cathan born character there to cap them.

This rule applys for everything.

An unlock for PvP is for PvP characters only.

So if you capped lets say "Mending" on a Warrior in PvE. You'd be able to use it as often as you like on PvP characters.

However if you wanted "Mending" on another PvE Warrior, you'd need to capture it again on that new PvE character.

What RTSFirebat says is both accurate and inaccurate at the same time.

If you unlock an elite with faction or through the use of a cap sig, then yes, it's available to all PVP characters that you create

If you unlock an non-elite with faction or buy buying it from a trainer, then that skill becomes available from ALL trainers in all chapters that the skill belongs to, IE a core skill can be purchased at all trainers across all chapters once unlocked, a Prophecies skill becomes available at all Prophecies trainers and a Factions skill becomes available at all factions trainers.

At no time will an elite ever be available at a trainer.

if it helps all of the white mantle archers in aurora glade, riverside and sanctum cay have dryders defense, I know there is an archer boss in each of these missions. Also there's a boss in twin serpent lakes (out from riverside). Disciplined stance is only available from trainers in maguuma stadt, amnoon oasis, and emberlight camp.
