With the amount of griefing over thunderhead keep mission, which even isn't that hard compared to something like Dunes of despair bonus, you would need a good group of people as some bonus as just not possible with henchies. (I have indeed accomplished all missions with henchies, the hardest being aurora glade)
Aurora Glade was the hardest to hench? If i remember rightly your usually level 20 by the time you reach that mission (or close...) but i henched it yesterday to explore the bonus area. All you do is attune the 1 on the left, go back and get a crystal, wait at the 1 on the left, the moment the group come with the crystal, reattune it instantly and kill a few White Mantle, go back to the pedastal and repeat.

I'd still say Thunderkeep is fairly difficult to hench, if the Perfected Armour turns up and starts chasing Mhenlo the tit always ends up dieing, then Lina goes for the Restore Life.... dies and the rest of the hench just keep fighting instead of using a Res Signet... Ring of Fire takes some serious persistance too. Going round using henchman is suicide unless your an interrupter or a damn good manipulater of the AI to get them to move out of Meteor Shower and they usually end up just dieing if you go through the fort.

The Bloodstone Fen bonus was 'interesting' to hench, because they insist on trying to kill the druid guardians . So I did it with just me (N/Mo), Claude and Alesia (who don't have the firepower to kill them )

What is the "kind of a big deal" title please, and how do you initiate it?

Kind Of A Big Deal is a title you aquire when you maximize 5 other titles. You initiate it by maximizing a title, in this case Protector of Tyria.

I wonder which 5 titles are the easiest to max out? The title sounds a bit goofy though... maybe it should have been "Guild Wars Addict"

Chests, Rares and Captures wouldn't cost that much imo.
Chests, you will most likely get a rare if your in FoW (everywhere else just sucks).
The rare you unid might be quite valuable, thus covering for the cost of the Chest. If its not you can sell it (or the purple) to the merchant and cover some of the cost.
Cap Signets cost 1k each yes, but theres a good chance you'll get a bit of loot on the way that should ease the cost a bit, you could also find a Chest, leading to the above.

Ale on the other hand... the 10000minutes of boozing will cost at LEAST 2million. Possibly a bit less if you could actually do the 170hours required in 1 go. And there is absolutely no way to get any gold in return for this. The only saving grace is if you stocked up a storage full of (Spiked) Eggnog during the Xmas event.

Drunkard is quite expensive, but I've been thinking this through. Christmas/Halloween items and other future evetns that offer alcohal are probably the cheapest way to go. I've also been thinking that it may be possible to just go around buying monestary credits for like 25-75g and getting a lot of hunter's ale that way.

Oh yeah, I have a few of those Imperial Commendations and notice you can trade them in for Hunter's Ale, 1:1 ratio.

The only ones that are even challenging with henchies are abaddon's mouth, and bloodstone fen. Believe it or not, the bonus for THK if done correctly makes the mission easier... but to answer your question more directly, it really depends on how/and how often you play.

The title is actually a line from the movie "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy". It's one of the funnier bits in the movie when Will Ferrell is trying to impress Christina Applegate.

Ron Burgundy: I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal.
Veronica Corningstone: Really.
Ron Burgundy: People know me.
Veronica Corningstone: Well, I'm very happy for you.
Ron Burgundy: I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany

The next title after "Kind Of A Big Deal" is "People Know Me."

Anyway... it's a good little movie... worth the netflix membership fee. I don't know that I'd be bothering with the title if I didn't so enjoy the movie and that particular bit of dialogue. It's sort of my 'tip o' the hat' to the game developers and their sense of humor. I've got three of five titles maxed - Protector of Tyria, Protector of Cantha, Cantha GMC and I'm working on Tyria GMC at the moment (93.8%) to make it four. Then on to conquer all the Elona missions FTT.
