Default Skill quest in Nightfall
Do they exist? I only got the starter pack of 10 or so skill for main prof and 5 for 2nd. Am I missing something?

Nope, just like in Factions, you buy all of your skills except the few "starter" ones given to you.

This is /slightly/ less costly this time around because of the inclusion of Hero Skill Trainers, which teach a skill to you for just a hero skill point (no money).

Oh I thought Hero Skill trainer - trains skill for 'Hero'. LOL.. never talked to them b4. Thx for the info.. cheers

I confess to being confused on this. I found one of these Hero Skill trainers and proceeded to unlock skills willy nilly until... I couldn't anymore.

How does it work? Does it unlock them for your heroes AND you? Or is it just for your heroes? Where are these hero skill points? Is there a dialog box where I can see how many I have?

Seriously... I'm confused on this matter.

Unlocking method of Hero Skill Trainer is just the same as Skill Trainer.
It unlock skills for both the character paid the hero skill points and heroes(=your account).

It unlocks it for your character as well as your account.

You gain Hero Skill Points for ranks of Lightbringer or Sunspear. So they are fairly rare.
