Default Anyone else getting horrible chest drops in Elona?

This may just be me, but I have opened around ten chests across Elona in regions of different difficulty, even in the Realm of Torment, and have gotten nothing but req 12-13 non-max golds. Every staff I have gotten has been 11-21, etc. The mods are nowhere near max. I feel like I'm opening chests in Ascalon or something. Anyone else having the same problem?

Nope, in fact I have the opposite kind of. I've opened around 100 chests so far, gotten a lot of crappy req golds, mostly around req 10-13..got a req 9. But I've gotten 4 15^50 mods, 3 5^50 mods, 4 HCT 10% mods, 2 15%-10 and 1 15%-5. I'm running out of room for all this stuff.

I've gotten about 20-30 chests, most of which purple but I got about 5 golds as well. Nothing good though, max damage but high req and non-prefect mods. I did get a 5e^50 mod from a purple though, that made me smile.

I've had some pretty good drops, but I waited until Vabbi to start chest farming.

I sympathize with the OP....it is all down to pure luck with is just something I do not have! I also got more than my fair share of req. 13s...I dunno how I manage it.

Wasn't all bad though, at least some of the purple items have insignias ans runes on now making them worth that bit more...if your luck holds out enough to salvage both the rune and the insignia off it!

I feel Margonite Chests seem few and far between, I think I only found two before I finished the game...one purple and one gold. The gold, however, was a 1% off-perfect spear - so someone liked me last night!

I don't care what I get too much at the moment...I have seeker of wisdom and I'm just trying to get to the first tier of Treasure Hunter. I think it's a good idea to make these titles count for something.

Look....

Chest drops are random, they always have been, always will be. Sometimes you just get unlucky. Chest drops are often not that great anyhow.

the lower the price of the key - the lower chance of gold chests...

well. thats how its been workin for me. nothin but purple and bad golds in vabbi and sulphurous wastes - realm of torment i get 9/10 good golds.

=p

Vabbi chests have a fairly low chance from what I've gotten... Ancient Elonan are slightly better for me, and Margonite chests for me have been more gold than purple.

Yeah, I think that is. But Torment areas are hardly runnable..

Where is the best place to run for you guys?
Opening with killing mobs is too tired
