Curse

Well, after taking a character almost straight through Nightfall, I've started a paragon who's taking a lot more time about things. While I was exploring Zehlon Reach I found a couple of NPCs right in the northeast corner - "Suspicious Hermit" and his pet Irontooth Drake (who I found out is called Nund, as the hermit ordered it to attack me).

Checked Wiki and searched here but no mention of them (even in the monsters/NPCs list in Wiki), so wondering if anyone here found more to do with them than kill 'em.

off to see if I can capture that for Jin.

edit: nope can't capture it or at least I couldn't make it work. I did get drake flesh from it but the purpose of the hermit is a mystery.

further edit: He's there when I take my Tyrian ranger but not when I take my Dervish. Must be a quest related spawn of some sort.

He was there in the preview weekend also. When I took my Dervish through that area, I left him alone. Felt sorry for him. lol

Tihs makes the second place that Drakes are tamed as pets in the game (You also "tame" a drake on the mianland in one of the quests to help protect a village).

I ran into him a few days ago, assumed he was part of a quest I hadn't accepted yet, but now I've done all the quests on Istan and I'm curious.

ran into him as well.....didnt get anything for killng it....was hoping others had more insight.
