well i found another one of those doors in the same area,i doubt it leads to the lite mission if there's 2,probably something to do with a quest or just scenery.

I saw that wall exploring, however there is no portal icon on the map, so I thought nothing of it. If it is indeed a door you can enter, it's going to be like the locked doors in cantha with an NPC standing outside (part of a quest), but even those had a portal icon.

Edit: I visited it. The stairs inside end part way up (looking through the cracks) and the texture uv's get horribly stretched further in (the artists didn't take much time on what was inside). It was obviously not meant to be physically entered.

Edit2: Clipped through the door, camera twigged up the wall, I took this screenie. The hall ends just a short ways in.

Those cracked door are nothing but scenery... there re several of them for one thing, and for another you can clip the camera in them and see the map terrain on the other side. They are just like the door after you fight the Zashein or the doors in the UW... just for show.

I really doubt that the elite mission would be on the mainland, I am 100% sure it is in the Realm of Torment, problem is getting inside it.

Map

Here is a full map of all the maps of the outposts I compiled, you can clearly see the missing one that should be between Secrets and Madness, so it is there... but how to enter it.

Done all the quest that could be obtained in the realm and still nothing, traveled through all the maps. There is probably some other requirement that we have not figgured out. If anyone has found any limitation because of the inability to progress in the Sunspear title, could they please contact me.

As for the missing outpost, it has 3 portals in a 'Y' shape, which is a bit strange, either you can reach it from two places, or it leads to two places.

It's to do with prot of Elona, i'm sure of it. Since the Stupid, Moddok Crevice bonus is bugged no one can get there..

Well,there is a second portal in abbadons gate that is closed off,so possibly thats the way to get to it,just probably anet aint put it in yet

I'm sure Anet hasn't even put in access to the elite mission yet. I don't know why people are trying to find it, it'll be brutal hell. Imagine the Domain of Fear x 5. There's your elite mission.

If you don't understand why people are tying to find it then you prolly don't have 100% exploration of your chars and haven't been to the edges of the world and haven't done everything in the game.

As for the second portal in Abbdon's Gate it might lead to the end area with all the NPCs, but I haven't been bothered to kill him again and see if the two areas overlap.

Has anyone found anything they can't do because they are not high enough Sunspear? And I'm refering to the hard cap currently in place ATM.

Sorry guys, I haven't even come near finishing the game yet, just did Moddok Crevice today actually. So yeah, I'm a fair ways from finishing, but tell me... do you meet the queen wurm during the storyline? Cause when I read about her in the manual, I immediately though "smells like an elite mission"...

I actually do have 100% of both Tyria and Cantha and 96.5% of Elona at the moment. I have been everywhere in Elona and the only thing I haven't done are the quests, because I seen no reason to do them. The elite mission, well the rewards cannot be that great unless it's some exotic type of armor, which will be more than I can afford anyways. If it's greens, well can't get anymore perfect than the endgame greens, only new skins and I'm only excited by Gold rare skins.

The only thing I'd like about it, would be the challenge and drops, but I still don't see why people are looking for something that isn't there, at least not yet. I'm sure it'll be in the Realm of Torment, as the keys are there. I'm sure that's what has most of you going to look for it as the keys are already out. I'm just saying it might be a waste of time, cause Anet might not have put it in yet. But I suppose I can understand the reason you're looking for it.

I don't know if it was already mentioned in this thread, but wouldn't you consider those 2 optional quests at the very end elite? It even says "Difficulty Level: Master" before the quest description. I don't know if those are the only 2, but that's all I've seen at the end of the game.

WEll for one,they are quests,not misssions,and the elite missions would be repeatable unlike the quests unless u abandon and retake again,so i doubt it.But i kinda agree with Gareth that anet probably aint implemented it yet!

When you get into that "Gates of whatever the name is" place, there is 2 quests you can pick up. They aren't hard to find and you can't miss them. There is red text before the quests description that says it's a master level quest. I've never seen that before so these are special (elite?). I didn't try them yet, but I did go into the area where the quests take you and there is a ton of high level enemies. Some of the same enemies you fight when fighting Varesh.

Very true. These are not repeatable. I didn't think of that.

Think of them as elite quests. They are a lot harder than normal quests, and require skill level that is above average at best most of the time. If you're at the end of the game, a [Master] quest from the Vournan area probably will be below your skill level. I'm only saying that because I did a [Master] quest from the person in Chantry and I had no problem doing so. But the Keeper masters quests are wow.

Master quests can be found all over Elona, depending on the area they (like normal quests) range in difficulty. Master quests in The realm of torment are deffinatly the hardest PvE I've done. Whilst the chantry master was on par with Great northern wall

I don't believe that Anet would sit around and not say a word if the Elite mission wasn't active yet. What game company would possibly alienate people dumping loads of time into finding the elite mission first? I truly believe they would have spoke up by now. So with that said, there is obviously something everybody is missing.
