I have a question and possible bug in the game. Last night I was playing with a clan member and he is much further along in NF then I am. Anyway as we entered the command post I noticed that there were a number of NPC's (hero skills, prof changer, etc) that I had never seen before. Just to let you know at this point I had not started the “Building the command post” quests which places these NPC's into the command post. So because the secondary profession changer was there I use him to add Dervish and Paragon to my secondary list. However when I did this I did not see any of the basic skills unlock that I had seen when I unlocked other classes. Also I do not have access to any of the secondary skills my Dervish Hero has access to. I only have the five or so elites I have capped. Does anyone know if this is a glitch or do you obtain any skills when you unlock these as a secondary profession?

Couple of questions to clarify, is this your first character and have you unlocked skills on some other character or through some other means (faction). Your heros have access to all UNLOCKED skills on your account, but your character still has to buy the skills to use them (either through a skill trader or hero skill trader).

No what he's talking about is the BASIC skills that you are supposed to get when you change secondary class, to the OP, I'm having the same issues. I changed 2ndary classes for all my chars to /p /d and have gotten NONE of the basic skills, however, when I change my paragon to other secondary classes she's gotten the basic skills for them.

Sorry for not being clear. I am talking about the Basic skills you get when you change secondary class. Thanks for the explanation Phoenixtech. If I recall in factions when I changed I would get about 6-8 skills per unlocked secondary class. Normally they are the skills I would expect to get if I started a new character in the game. Again If I recall when you start a new character in NF you get three to four skills right off the bat.

Hope this is something that changes soon. I would like to try some of the basic skills and not waste my skill points on these skills. I need them to cap elite skills.
