Default Order of Undeath trouble

If this is aNet's idea of a joke it's really sick. A boss that deals double damage and half hex time, accompanied by 3 monks, 3 dervishes, and 2-3 mesmers.

Anyway past my griping, anyone got advice on how I can deal with this guy? I've tried focusing attacks on him, blinding the dervishes, and killing the monks and nothing seems to work. No bodies for MM, Mesmers remove SS with Hex-Eater Vortex, and Dervishes kill any casters I got in the backlines.

Please help!

I'm having problems with this guy too. Not 100% sure if it works, but try leaving henchies in wurms right beside the rocky terrain. Pull the group towards them, and they'll all use the elite skill.

Tried it, once you eject the henches eject.

Disclaimer : I didn't try the worm pulling on that boss and so don't know if it will work

The Method for worm pulling is to eject one of your heroes (you can do so using his control bar) and to use flags to have him pull the mobs towards you. Note that Ideally you'll stand a bit in the desert because your melee characters have a tendency to bring their worms in melee range too.

Just spike the 3 monks as best you can. If you can kill them, you can slowly kill everything else because there is nothing else that can res.

Killed him 3 times now. Didnt use anything other than SS/Mark of Pain/PBond

Usually using 1prot hero, 2 healer hench, 1 SS(me), 1 MM hero, 1 Warrior Hero, 1 Dervish Hero, and what ever left for last spot.

With those Mesmer, you need to cover ur Hex alot.

When I killed him, I had Zhed (Searing Flames), Dunkoror (Boon Prot), Olias (Degen), Mhenlo, Mesmer Chick, Earth Elementalist, and Sologon. I bascially rushed the Monks.

Funny thing was that, I didn't even noticed I was fighting a group containing the Boss. Course once I saw one of my party members drop very quickly, I kinda suspected a boss was in the group.

LOL

I'm not laughing at you...just that I died three times kiling this guy...but I got him!

You CAN pull a nearby mob and get a few minions before fighting him. Thats only useful if you're running Dark Bond and Flesh Golem, because you'll have 4 minions max when fighting this guy.

I believe I was using this hench/hero selection:
2 Wars
2 Dervs
2 Mo's
MM (me)
Earth Ele

The bastard spiked me repeatedly, but I killed all three monks before I went down the first time. The second death, we killed all the other helpers except one Dervish.
The third trip we finished them off.

Oh... Order of Undeath is AWESOME!!!!!!

-.- (the member, not the emote), There are no paragons. Just Dervishes.

Yea, the 3 monks are my biggest grief. I can barely kill one but then it gets revived by the other 2 punks.

Leveling her shouldn't be a problem. Hit a scroll and go to Desolation. Everyone's got the same HP/energy in a wurm, anyways.
