Default Warining about Dragon Arena for survivors

It's a PvP Arena... if you die it counts as a death....

Taken from personal experience... Learned not to play the game when I am tired and excited... You make stupid decisions (like playing with your survivor in a PvP arena.....)

Lol my lvl 19 who wanted survivor accepted a dual from a guildy, I lost and destroyed my chance at the title.

PvP deaths have always counted as deaths for the survivor title - it's a nasty sticking spot going from Tyrian pre searing...

Actually, the trick to go from pre-searing Ascalon is to just log out once you get into the waiting room for the PvP. When you log back in you'll get to the Prince Rurik quest where you need to hunt down the Charr ranger (and can't skip that quest). I believe that the team you left will get a henchie by the time the gate opens. If not, well it's not like that is the most important pvp in the game :-)

It's ok, one of my guildies took a level 4 assassin into dragon arena forgetting it's his survivor :P

It's not like he was very far anyways...

Another tip for passing that Tyrian PvP bit (not that it helped me as my character had already spoilt her chance for survivor by then, but still) -

If you go to a half-dead district at a bad time (like an International District at say 2-4am U.S. Eastern time), there seems to be a chance (and it happened for Vierin) that you actually don't have to do the PvP at all. No tricks to get around it, it just doesn't happen and you skip straight to the PvE part of the mission.

I think there probably have to be at least 2 players wanting to go to Post-Searing at the same time (and possibly within the same American, European, Int. etc district?) in order for the PvP event to proceed; if there was to be just one player vs. a full team of henchies, the PvP event just never happens (presumably so people don't get forced to stay in pre-searing until there are enough for PvP) ...

If you die after you get the title then does your title go away?

Quick tip on Pre Searing PvP. If you are on a certain side of the map you can like run into an area that isn't in the arena. You just go backwards before the timer starts the game and there is a huge area there to hide. Odds are the enemy's won't come looking for you and if they do they will be out of time by then.

Nnnnope. But the counter on the title bar stops when you die, regardless of how much experience you've gained after your first death.

As you can see in the picture, my experience stopped when I had my celebratory death after hitting the title, so I could finally stop being so paranoid, hehe. I waited until hitting it to try the more reckless stuff, like taking henchies to try and get Master's on Kuunavang. That was also the cause of my second death. =P
